The first disaster was natural. The second was a failure of leadership. Our state, local and federal government`s response to Hurricane Katrina was slow and mismanaged. And now, hundreds, if not thousands, of Americans are dead. So what went wrong? This question must be answered -- for the sake of the victims of Hurricane Katrina -- and for future generations. If you want the real truth than you can join in calling for an Independent Commission to investigate what went wrong and make sure that this never happens again. Next time it could be in your hometown.
