Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted September 22, 2005 Moderators Share Posted September 22, 2005 Many of you may remember Dennis Wicklunds who lost his job due to a conflict with his religious standards. FYI, he has been employed for about a month as a dental assistant for a group of dentists. So, things are going well with him at the moment. Just letting you-all know, as I know many care about him, and his family. Quote Gregory

Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted September 23, 2005 Author Moderators Share Posted September 23, 2005 As those of you aware of the situation might suspect, I did not recieve my information directly from Dennis. I am well aware that many people here care about him. Frankly, I care about him regardless of what he thinks. So, I have passed this information about him on so that those concerned about him will know. Quote Gregory
aka
That was real loving and kind of you to post that he has a job now. It does worry us when another from our fellowship is out of work because of religious convictions. He couldn't see that in many of our hearts toward him. And I sure liked seeing all you writing in and indicating you all care that it goes well for him in life. He made a discision to part ways and move on away from printed intercourse with the gang here. I think it is important to let him see (if he lurks) that there is none here who are persecuting him nor wishes him any ill will. Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted September 23, 2005 Author Moderators Share Posted September 23, 2005 K: Re: Your comment regarding that Dennis Wicklunds' photos and posts are missing from CA. Well they are not missing from the Internet. If you "google" his name you will come up with his profile information, and a selection of his posts. Here is one URL (froom google) that will retrieve some of his posts: http://www.clubadventist.com/ubbtreads/p...034/type/thread Let this be a lesson to all of you. There is a Biblical record of our life. So, also there is an Internet record of our posts. We can think that we have deleted them, and they may still remain, and open to the poublic. Bob Carmin
I just typed into google "Bob Carmin" including the quotes. That's my name. It knows about me on Club Adventist. This makes me afraid. How is google so powerful to know so much? Do they have EVERYTHING on a big computer somewhere? I can't even imagine how they do it. Moderators LynnDel Posted September 24, 2005 Moderators Share Posted September 24, 2005 I think Stan has been so active at promoting us that when we put in our names, the ClubAdventist link is the first that comes up. Maybe all of us should register under pseudonyms. ? LD Quote LD
Stan
What happened, and this tooks some $$$$ to do, is that we are a very Google friendly site. In fact if you go to www.google.com and you put in clubadventist you will see that we are in there 215,000 times!!! Yup, I just checked 215,000 times.. that is really a lot. The sad thing is, after I paid to have the program modified (this is not cheap) the people who make the software now have it INCLUDED.... K
Gregory, Wow!!!!!!!!!Didn't realize that I am on google too. I just started popping names in of people I know, and it surprised me as to how much information is available for the entire world. I also noticed while sleuthing around that you can see that the last time Wicklands posted was on September 2nd. You can see each post on CA through google too. I loved some of the pictures he'd taken so that is why I noticed that his name wasn't in the photo gallery. Appreciate the knowledge you shared. Michelle
K--I think the photo gallery only lists recent photos, because I haven't posted anything for a while and my name isn't up there anymore. If you do a search in the photo gallery and choose "all" rather than one week or something like that, you can find old and antiquated postings of photos.
