Stan
This anti-war site http://www.iraqbodycount.net/ claims under 30,000 but I had understood there had been over 100,000 civilians killed by the US military alone. aldona
My understanding is that there are several organizations offering estimates which vary greatly depending on their sources and (sometimes) their motivation. The true number is unknown because the US military does not keep count of civilian deaths. (I saw this thread after I posted my cartoon on the Bali bombing. If I had seen it earlier I would have posted it here.) aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music? Dr. Shane
Either way, the Iraqis are paying a high price for their freedom. Let's pray they maintain it and the terrorists don't overcome them.
