Sojourner
Suppose you are sitting around in your Sabbath School Bible study and a new person to the group states that they want to become a Christian. How is that dealt with in an SDA setting? Would that person be taken through a Sinners Prayer, or would their name be taken and a date organized to begin Baptism classes or is there another process? Members phkrause
Not really sure. I would imagine they would have Bible Studies with either the Pastor or one of the members? BobRyan
The immediate response is most likely that they say the sinners prayer - confess, repent and claim the blood of Christ. If they are not a Seventh-day Adventist then the invitation given to study the Bible doctrines that Adventists have discovered over the years would follow. Never is there a need to wait 22 lessons before accepting Christ as your Savior. But there is a need to study those lessons before becoming a member of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. in Christ, Bob Quote John 8:32 - The Truth will make you free“The righteousness of Christ will not cover one cherished sin."
