We are talking about pre-Abrahamic religion even in modern times!!! Hence, the same principle applies. Not everyone before Abraham were Satan worshipers. Many non-Judeo-Christian religions have ancient stories that bear a remarkable resemblance to the early stories of Scripture, such as a creation story and a flood story. That suggests a common source before the people of earth scattered around the world as we understand happened at the tower of Babel. No doubt before they scattered they had heard the stories of God from Noah and his family. Those stories and beliefs were passed down from one generation to another by word of mouth, just as to Abraham, and even centuries later to Moses who is credited for first writing it down in our tradition. The word of mouth method of knowledge transfer among disparate people is likely to have significant variance in details and even embellishments by the sages as they are interpreted and applied over time. Just consider the variations religions that trace their lineage back to Abraham - Judaism, Islam and Christianity - and that with written records. Kountzer Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 Did nothing special for halloween. Didn't put up decorations, did not hand out candy. Noticed a certain amount of emotional spark in the air, but did not celebrate the day. For thanksgiving we ate very well. Slept a lot. Watched TV. Even if one is not worshiping Satan in the traditional sense, they are still giving Satan honor. Demons can seem like the nicest loving people there are. Sometimes they appear as Jesus.
