ClubV12
Are you praying that God will allow this Church to see the light on womens ordination and make that happen? Or, are you praying that His will be done in that regard? When you pray for someone to be healed, do you ask God to heal them, or do you ask that His will be done in that regard? Some are praying FOR W.O. and some are praying to not allow W.O. Whose prayer shall God answer? It is not a demonstration of lack of faith when we pray that Gods will be done, for healing, for W.O., for that house or job or car repair. Will you accept His will, or will you murmur and complain becasue you didn't get your way? When we have staked out our position so that we become unmovable on an issue, how can we pray His will be done? It is the sin of presumption to "demand" of God that YOUR will be done because you see it as His will. As if you could possibly know the mind of God! You need to accept His will, whatever it may be. If you insist on your way, whatever the outcome, it will be a bitter harvest you reap. He may just give you what you demand!
Textus Receptus
Great comment ClubV12. It should always be God's will be done! If we have two sides claiming that God is on their side, we have the potential for schisms and chaos.
