Obama knew millions would lose their health insurance in 2010

The admission from House Democratic Leader Steny Hoyer comes after a 2010 document emerged that predicted millions might be dropped by their providers.

The document helped explain why thousands are already getting cancellation notices and being guided toward new plans. It also gave new meaning to Nancy Pelosi's infamous remark, shortly before the complex legislation was approved in March 2010, that "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it."

Why did the IRS predict that millions of people with health insurance would lose it? Because Obama's administration, Health and Human Services to be precise, wrote the regulations concerning existing insurance policies in such a way that even very minor changes in a plan would would force the holder into buying insurance through the federal government. Knowing that health care plans change on a regular basis they wrote the regulations to force people out of their existing plans.

Then, knowing how they wrote the rules, they went on telling the American public something they knew to be absolutely false for three more years.
