...But Minister to Gay and Lesbian Community, Panelists at Adventist Sexuality Summit say

A panel of experts at the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s summit on sexuality today discussed how best to negotiate issues surrounding the gay and lesbian community in a way that both upholds the theological identity of the church and acknowledges the realities faced by people struggling with sexual orientation.

Interesting article and like its approach to the issue. People are people, not labels.

We just need to learn how, is all.

Its all in how a person chooses to look at it.

Say your friend Bob is a carpenter. When you have him over for dinner and to play some checkers, he is just Bob. He is still a carpenter but thats not the context of his visit. He is your friend. If you hire him to build you a carport he is a carpenter. He is still your friend, but he is there to build your carport and will bill you for it.

So really, the only way any the gay part of your interaction with a gay person matters is if you are inviting them into your life for sex.
