Sojourner Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Greetings all, I wondered if you might be able to tell me what SDA churches do in regard to midweek or Friday night church meetings? Do SDA churches have those types of meetings on a regular basis, or are meetings reserved for the Sabbath only if they are held as a weekly event? I have noticed that some other denominations are holding evangelical church meetings on a weeknight in addition to their normal Sunday services and wondered if the SDA do this also? Quote
Members phkrause Posted March 26, 2014 Members Posted March 26, 2014 Well Sojourner, on Wednesday night, we have prayer meeting. Some though have it on Tuesday. Friday night programs are for bringing in the Sabbath and Saturday night is for the end of the Sabbath. Quote phkrause Read Isaiah 10:1-13
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted March 26, 2014 Moderators Posted March 26, 2014 it varies from congregation to congregation. Some will have such in homes, but not the church, or maybe both. Quote Gregory
