CoAspen
Quote: ..."who speaks the word of life to the people" a minister? Seems like the word minister is used for anyone doing Gods work...which includes the laity. At least we are admonished to do such, in the Bible and by EGW. I wonder if we really 'know' exactly what the tithe was to be used for, according to the Bible. I'm sure there has been a committee appointed to study that at some point in the past!! If we use it in the narrower definition, what happens to the gigantic organization? Maybe a restudy of the issue.....like they many studies of WO? Members rudywoofs (Pam)
the statistics I used were explicit in dividing "ordained ministers" from the rest of denominational employees.. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
