onebeecee
Found this very interesting, and it had a ring of truth for me and the SDA church, while it was not mentioned, there were a lot of good points made, especially in regards to the Jewish woman. http://www.cbc.ca/tapestry/ Quote Psalms19:12-14 Lord my saviour
Sojourner
So there was a Rodney Howard Browne crusade held in my city several years back, a while afterwards a chap was found laying on the bonnet of a brand new Ford on the lot, praying in tounges and "claiming" the vehicle. I suspect he felt that was theologically the right thing for him to do. As much as its a bizarre example, how different is it really to people seeking God in prayer for gifts of money or materal goods such as wide screen 3d tv's and so forth? Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted April 8, 2014 Administrators Share Posted April 8, 2014 Sojourner, did you even click on the link? I think if you would just read the few short paragraphs you might see how far off topic you really are... Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)
