Is Pope Francis ushering in the New World Religion?

While the theology is somewhat amiss, the article clearly points to something in the very near future that has been in SDA teaching as they teach the Scriptures from sola scriptura, for many scores of years.

Anywhere in the world where a new government forms before Jesus sets up His government, this is probably an example of how the people will be controlled and it won't be of a long duration.

 

The problem is that even outrageous maneuvers cease to be newsworthy when they become normal. When Zarqawi’s group captured and beheaded Philadelphia native Nicholas Berg in 2004, then uploaded the video of his murder, it was front-page news for a week. But the subsequent videotaped murders of Kim Sun-il, Eugene Armstrong, Jack Hensley, Kenneth Bigley and other foreigners did not have the same impact. Neither did any of the videotaped executions of the dozens of Iraqis who fell into AQI’s hands. It is plain who is the present pretender to the throne of this world.

In reviewing over a year's worth of previous "articles" by the author [Veronica Sweatt] of the above article, it appears she has a penchant for "sensationalist" topics that defy rational thinking (including an article on several Boy Scouts being struck by lightening as a message from God because the BSA changed its stance on homosexuality...)

I seem to remember that every pope is usering in a "One World Government" since about the early 60's...or somewhere there about!

In a way, a one world government makes sense, that is, nations will not go to war against other nations because they all belong to the same club. Unfortunately, many will not go along with the one-world plan, and will continue to attack other people groups because men controlled by demons love death and destruction. The teachings of Christ can, and will, make a difference, and ultimately, he will rule over the entire world, a world where nations no longer exist.
