LifeHiscost
Quote: Don't hold God to the details. "He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much."Luke 16:10 NASB Can you think of any circumstance when that would be inappropriate to follow? LifeHiscost
Quote: the beast is in in every human heart I've heard it said there are two lions within each devoted disciple of Christ. One is as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour and the other is the Lion of Judah. The one that is fed is the one that gains strength. I prefer to put it this way; "I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."Galatians 2:20 KJV God is Love! Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted July 29, 2014 Administrators Share Posted July 29, 2014 It seems to me... Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

hch
Quote: Thats some pretty broad ranging 42 month ideas........ I have a totally different view point that I've posted several times previously. In short summary, I think the 42 months that are the literal fulfillment of the 42 months (rather than an application) are yet to happen... You must be near about right. The Spirit of prophecy makes two applications for the 42-months. 1) 538 to 1798 = 42-months 2) "In the last days...Then will take place the final fulfillment of the Revelator's prophecy. [Revelation 13:4-18, quoted.]" {19MR 282.1} [Rev 13:5 foretells the 42-months] certainly they will not be 1260-years. So they must be 42 months. joeb
Quote: Conservatism quite often needs an individual/event/thought to focus on for their version of truth to be the correct one. By having a named enemy and concentration on that, one can feel they are accomplishing the true mission. Wow. Someone has really been drinking the Kool-Aid of progressivism/socialism. Your statement is so far from the truth it's not funny. It shows a complete lack of understanding of who and what conservatives really are. You're so indoctrinated that your perceptions are warped far outside the realm of reality. It's the ideas and concepts of progressivism and socialism that conservatives oppose. While the conservative holds up people as examples of what they oppose as it is hard to separate a person from the ideas they hold, they oppose the ideas those people hold and govern by, not the person themselves. For example, if Obama held conservative ideas I'd support him. I oppose him because of the ideas and concepts he holds and governs by.
