It was supposed to be the war to end all wars. Instead, it made World War II inevitable and set the stage for today’s unending Middle East conflicts. What would the world look like today without these seven events that changed human history forever?

I'm glad Revelation does not reveal another kingdom before the coming of Christ, for the world is making plans.

If you've never researched the Sykes-Picot Agreement - it will shed a great deal of light on the present ISIL war.

The British sent T.E. Lawrence to convince the Arab tribes to unite against the Ottoman's in WWI.

The British wanted to keep the trade routes open, otherwise the Ottomans could have collapsed the British and French economy.

Anyway, the promise made by the British to the Arabs was

Arab rule over a new united Arab kingdom of greater Syria, which would encompass present day Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and parts of Iraq and Jordan.

Lawrence succeeded in uniting the Arabs against the Ottomans, BUT

the British never intended to HONOR the promises they made.

The USED the Arabs to defeat the Ottoman Empire.

The Arabs have HATED the British ever since.  The Arabs wanted/still want what was promised to them in the Sykes-Picot Agreement.

The British drew up artificial boundaries, making nations where there were none before - forcing perpetual conflict.

The British also put strong dictators over these "nations".  So the first goal of the Arab movement has been to topple dictators.

If we ARM the Syrian rebels, we will be helping their 'cause.  The rebels are more interested in toppling Assad, than in fighting ISIL.

And the Arabs have USED the Palestinians, to generate support for their cause.

The Palestinians were OFFERED their own independent state year ago, and refused it.

The rallying cry has been that the state of Israel must go....

So - there is NO SOLUTION.

It will come down to a very deadly attack, which will break the two horns (the "kings" of Media and Persia) in one BIG attack.

After that - the "notable horn" of Daniel 8, will be "broken without hand" (not in a war) - which means economic collapse.

After that - four powers will vie for world domination.

One of the four will win control.  And out of that "horn" a "little horn" will come up.

So - we are sitting on the brink.

Just waiting for that dommino to fall.

Are you aware that SDAs believe we are in the time of the ten toes or the feet of iron and miry clay, with the next Stone cut out without hands to strike the feet indicating the soon coming of Jesus, expiring all earthly kingdoms. What is your viewpoint regarding that prophecy?

Not what I've read and heard. The British needed more money so they made a deal with the Jews to let them have Palestine. Sir Lawrence not knowing what his superiors were doing, made a deal with the Arabs about giving them Palestine. The rest is history.
