That dilemma seems to have divided early church leaders Paul and James. However asking for Him to meet our needs and then ignoring the needs we see all about us limits the promises we can depend on from Him. 37"Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. 38"Give, and it will be given to you.
