Members phkrause
How readily Christians compromise their faith, especially when it comes to origins, the doctrine upon which their faith rests. After Jesus’ first advent, Christians sold out the sign of God as Creator, the seventh-day Sabbath, for the pagan day of the sun. Now, before His second coming, many Christians have replaced the biblical teaching of a six-day creation for billions of years of natural selection and random mutation. And if we thought the arguments for Sundaykeeping were spurious, listen to how the Rev. Dr. John Polkinghorne incorporates evolution into the creation account. http://www.adventistreview.org/1505-17 Quote phkrause Obstinacy is a barrier to all improvement. - ChL
CoAspen
Had read the article, interesting but nothing new. Not sure what the reason was for the article, is the readership not believed to be informed, circle the wagons, another point source to vent about, etc. Thanks for posting, should stir up some 'thought'. Why do I say that? Because we either believe God is who He says He is, or we reject who God Himself says He is and accept another source as the authority. Both sources cannot be right for they are diametrically opposed to each other. God either created us as He said He did, or we just happened along by some freak of impossibly high odds. phkrause and LifeHiscost 2 Quote Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.Alexis de Tocqueville
