Peter J. Gomes explains why he believes God is bigger, and more generous, than some Christians imagine.

By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

ESV | Ro 2:13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them

This gives me the idea that there will be Gentiles BC & AD who will be in the new earth.

Who will the priests minister to?

- joe

That would be those from the first resurrection!!

Here's the CJB translation of that verse: Rev 6 Blessed and holy is anyone who has a part in the first resurrection; over him the second death has no power. On the contrary, they will be cohanim of God and of the Messiah, and they will rule with him for the thousand years.

A friend and I once discussed Socrates in this light. He was executed for saying that there was one God and He was unlike humans in that he did not do the evil things they did. He refused to stop teaching this. Just wonder.

Behold what manner of love the Father hath given unto us.

For Christians who asked "Do Non-Christians Go to Heaven?" in attempt to dismantling & obfuscating the core essential of the Blood of Jesus by misapplying that "God is Love" and "God's love is equal to non-Christians too"...

...are the same Christians which are under serious obligation to publicly ask "Do Non-Tithe/offerings givers Go to Heaven?" Being Christians is wonderful, but it is not a mandatory to return your Tithe and offerings, because God still always loves us regardless!! And we still go to heaven, anyway!

Would you please ask this challenge to yourself and every Christian?

Btw, The Holy Spirit enable anyone to accept and willing,... then they'd like to join the Body of Christ.

So please make a clear distinction between Non-Christians that already rejecting the Gospel (neglecting) Vs. Non Christians that haven't had the opportunity for the Gospel, yet they died. God knows every human hearts, but every Christian knows every Biblical Principal, especially about who're saved Vs. who're not.

It's not safe to assume. At least we should know that God don't save Non-Christians randomly based, but Principally.based, which is "THUS SAID THE LORD".

One thing that seems to be important to me is to allow non-believers to be just that rather than coercing them, although when love is exercised with strong persuasion it can appear as coercion. Free will is given to all, however some give that gift away by denying it to others.

7Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap....Galatians 6

11So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.....Isaiah 55

God is Love!  Jesus saves!  :D

Lift Jesus up!!

So then, what's the status of any Christians that willfully neglecting to pay the tithe, and careless about their offerings? Can we tell ourselves that the salvation of the Non-Tithe giver Christians remains the same as the committed tithe givers? (always guaranteed)...

...or less? or..what ever it might be?

I don't see the verse saying anything about them ministering to anyone!

Tithing in the Old Testament is 3 tithes of 10% on Gross Income. There is no instruction at all for members of the church to Tithe any portion of thier income to a local church group. The "store house" in Malachi is not indicitive of a local church building, nor does it pretend to be.

If we understand that the book of Rev is about the End of Time and the Last Days, we should realize that the 1st Resurrection occurs when the Woman in Labor, clothed with the Sun and standing on the Moon, "delivers" the 144K, the "son", an instant nation, thus creating the Restored Kingdom of Israel in a day as the prophet foretold. These 144K have already been purified in the River of Life, and thus, cannot transgress the laws of YHVH. Even if they are killed, they can still be resurrected again, but never corrupted. During their reign, the Kingdom of YHVH is established on the Earth, and Israel rules the world for a thousand years with an iron rod, no mercy for rebels, that is.

Now at the end of 1K years the 2nd Resurrection occurs. This is the swarming sea of people from which the 4 Kingdoms arise once again, but only for a brief time. This is the time period when the 3 Angel's Messages are presented to everyone who has ever lived. This is the time period when everyone must choose their master, either YHVH or the Great Deceiver. Everyone will receive a permanent mark, maybe a tattoo, indicating their allegiance. Those bearing the mark of YHVH will soon become easy targets for the other class.

Even fanatical mass-murderers will have the opportunity to repent of their past transgressions during this time and receive YHVH's mark, and just as YHVH will forgive them and make them clean, so too, we must forgive all who have harmed or killed us or our loved ones.

After the final battle between YHVH and Satan, it is Judgment Day, where all must stand before YHVH to face their life record. Those who have received the mark of YHVH already have their names written in the Book of Life and all transgressions are forgiven, but sadly, everyone bearing the mark of Satan and whose name is not listed in the Book of Life must be destroyed in order to protect the people of YHVH from future harm.

Even though the vilest criminals can have their crimes erased, that's no excuse for deliberately transgressing the laws of YHVH today. The more we transgress in this life, the less likely we will choose YHVH to be our Master and owner.

BTW, "heaven" is a fictitious place unless one means "space", which is where the cities of YHVH come from. Likely, some of them are too large to land on Earth's surface so they will probably park in orbit..

BTW, the 144K, after having been resurrected, will be taller, stronger, and smarter than the humans they will rule. This enables them, along with advanced weaponry and the ability to control the weather, to subjugate the entire planet. Sadly, they will be defeated after the uncountable hordes of the 2nd Resurrection overrun their city, defiling it and transforming it into Babylon, the Great Whore.

  • 1 month later...

Enoch,  Moses, and Elijah were not Christians; they are in heaven already.

Christ was not there for Enoch, Moses, and Elijah days.  The terminology did not exist then. Under nowadays terminology of "christianity", would a christian enjoy living in a Buddhist country where strict Buddhism is practiced, or even under ISIS rule?

I believe a strong Biblical case can be made that we are judged by the amount of light we have.  More is expected of those that know more and less of those that know less.
