The ministerial credentials indicate that those in authority at the time were satisfied that this woman was an ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This is a great quote you posted: “The Lord was not in our leaving America. He did not reveal that it was His will that I should leave Battle Creek. The Lord did not plan this, but He let you all move after your own imaginings.” If the principle within that quote (the Lord allows men to move after their own imaginings) were rightly considered in the context of male headship and the ordination of Mrs. White, it would do away with a lot of the self-deception.
