B/W Photodude Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Crane collapse in Mecca kills at least 87 A powerful rainstorm in Mecca knocked down a crane at Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mosque Friday, and the Saudi Civil Defense authority says at least 87 people are dead. The Defense authority confirmed the accident in a Twitter post, saying 87 people died and 184 were wounded, Reuters reported. Photos on social media showed shocked pilgrims in bloodied robes, and debris from part of a crane that looks like it crashed through a ceiling.
