Members phkrause
Oscar-nominated actor Robert Loggia, who was known for gravelly-voiced tough-guy roles in films such as "Scarface" and the TV series "The Sopranos," but who was most endearing as Tom Hanks' kid-at-heart toy-company boss in "Big," died on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at his home in Los Angeles. He was 85. Loggia also appeared in several comedies by director Blake Edwards (including three "Pink Panther" films), and portrayed Joseph, husband of Mary, in the 1965 Biblical epic, "The Greatest Story Ever Told." Asked in 1990 how he maintained such a varied career, he responded: "I'm a character actor in that I play many different roles, and I'm virtually unrecognizable from one role to another. So I never wear out my welcome." http://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/robert-loggia-1930-2015/ Kevin H 1 Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}
