Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted May 4, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 4, 2016 W. W. Fordham. RIGHTEOUS REBEL: THE UNFORGETTABLE LEGACY OF A FEARLESS ADVOCATE FOR CHANGE. Review & Herald, 1990, 141 pages. The above is Fordham's autobiography in which he tells the story of his life as an Adventist minister and how he dwelt with the segregation between the races that existed in his time. Of some interest to me is his reflections on the growth of the so-called Regional Conferences which begin on page 66. Yes, this book is 26 years old. Yes, changes have taken place in our denominational polity. But, I bring it to you attention as I believe that it is revelant to issues that we f ace today. In addition, it is well written by a person skilled in telling a story. Maybe the Adventist Church needs more people like him. But, the problem is that few such people survive and those who do have often fought many battles. Quote Gregory
