Administrators debbym Posted March 3, 2017 Administrators Posted March 3, 2017 yes, i believe Mary when she sat at the feet of Jesus was being given leadership instruction. and her sister resented this that Mary was placing herself above Martha who was doing the physical labor. after all Mary was the one who shamed the family and who was the troubled one. why should Mary presume to seek and hold a higher place. and Jesus said "It shall not be taken from her." to those women who would sit at the feet of Jesus and then go and serve as qualified servants, "it shall not be taken from them".
