Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 4, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 4, 2017 For some comments on the Adventist denomination in Australia, see: https://spectrummagazine.org/article/2017/10/02/exchanges-down-under-part-6-being-adventist Sorry folks, but I can not help but quote from a response to the above article: Quote Here in Australia American speakers have a reputation for talking at length and saying nothing of importance. We are more accustomed to listening to British and Australian people who have read widely and give a great deal of thought to their subject, dividing their talk into a succinct introduction followed by well-defined sub-titles and ending with a short summary. Lectures padded with a barrage of words that go on forever are regarded as a waste of time, even, irritating. Quote Gregory
