Bavaria is bracing itself for the introduction of a new law under which Christian crosses will have to hang in the entrance of all public buildings.

It would be interesting to know why the Catholics object to this.

I'd like to know that myself??

Possible reasons for a Catholic objection?

*  A cross is not a crucifix.  In Catholic theology a crucifix is important.

*  A sacred symbol should not be used in a setting that might be seen as being outside the   realm of sacred use and to be displayed on some public building might do that.

NOTE:  I do not know.  Just thinking.
