Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted July 21, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 21, 2018 The folloiwing article is written by a member of the General Conference Executive Committee. It raises questions worthy of consideration. https://atoday.org/letter-requests-that-gc-discuss-integrity-in-church-leadership/ I will further respond from a personal basis: I have been educated in the SDA school system through elementary school, high school, college and one graduate degree. In those 19 years of SDA education, I did not have any training in what would be commonly understood as Ethics. My background and training in Ethics has come from my graduate work at a non-SDA university and as a clinical member of a hospital Ethics Committee for almost 20 years. From this background, I do not believe that SDAs generally have a good understanding of what is commonly called Ethics. So, why should we expect anything else from those we place leadership positions. Quote Gregory
