Porn/Lesbian Actress Played the Role of Ellen G. White in the Seventh-day Adventist Film ‘Tell the World’

“Tell the World” is the first ever historical movie that documents the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The church spent $5.5 million dollars on 97 professional actors and over 1,000 extras to produce this film. At the center of the movie is the story of Ellen G. White – prophet and co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Actress Tommie-Amber Pirie was hired to play the role of Mrs. White. Tommie-Amber Pirie is also an established actor, writer and director of porn, lesbian and gay movies. While Tommie-Amber Pirie was recreating the role of Ellen White in the filming of the “2016 Tell the World” movie she as also filming a “2016 Below Her Mouth” lesbian movie, a “2015-2016 Bitten” occult movie, and she had just finished filming a “2015 I Don’t Love You Like That” gay movie and a “2015 How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town” porn movie.

This is a mockery to God and a disgrace to Ellen White. It is a joke that the church would use artists who embrace the Hollywood sex culture and the occult to portray the life of Sister White. Seventh-day Adventists paid a lot of money to someone who is part of Hollywood’s free-love, lesbian, orgy scene and hired her to portray the faithful, self-sacrificing life of a godly woman. #sda #adventist #adventista

I will probably comment more than I do now, on this subject.  However, to begin, I suggest that all people listen to the 2 minute, 40 second video of the actress who played Ellen Whit in "Tell It To The World,"  tell us of her view of the the role she had to play Ellen White:

https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Tommie+Amber-Pirie&view=detail&mid=A9FDA76B44AE8575E39CA9FDA76B44AE8575E39C&FORM=VIRE

While I expect to post more, perhaps in this space, I would ask:

*   Do we really expect that all of the male actors in this film be men who have never participated in a commercial sex event?

*  "Tell It To the world" Is a film telling the history of the SDA denomination that resulted from the work kof the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia and of  Hope Channel Australia.

*  However, the actual production of the film was done by:  Bunker II Productions,  Zed Filmworks and Day''s End Pictures.  They had control over who were the actors in the film.

I have reviewed what I can learn about Tommie Amber-Pirie:

*  She is an accomplished Canadian actor who has appeared in a number of films and TV series programs.

While I have not viewed her films, I do believe that she has appeared in some films that were sexually explicit, and would likely be considered to be pornographic by many of the people reading this thread.

*  I find it interesting that there does not seem to be a review of the male actors in an attempt to see of any of them had appeared in similar films.  Why have we focused on a woman, to the neglect of the men.  How is it that someone knew to check up on her, but, seemingly had not reason to check to see if there were any men involved.

.*  Folks, I believe tha God can use the film "Tell It To The World," regardless of the sexual purity of the men and women who were actors in that film.

*  To end, I invite all to listen to her tell her story in the link I previously provided.

Probably not such a hot idea to throw stones at someone who was chosen to play a character in movie.  It's the movie people will remember — not the personal lives of the actors and actresses therein.  (I'm sure "weird" stuff could be found about Andrew Garfield, who played the lead in the Desmond Doss movie.)

What actually strikes me as being very peculiar after watching the "Tell It to the World" movie trailer is that actress Tommie-Amber Pirie (who I've never heard of previously) looks like she's about 14 years old, and has a "little girly" voice —  neither of which apparently change much throughout the EGW part in the movie.

At any rate, what is the Adventist church supposed to do when creating a documentary or movie or any other sort of production that involves using non-SDA people?

Shall we create a morality history questionnaire that people must pass before they're allowed to associate with the "pure" SDA population?  That non-SDA actors/actresses, directors and producers must have "clean hands" according to some SDA policy before becoming involved in any way with the Adventist Church?

I have non-SDA entertainer relatives.  They aren't "bad" people at all.  In fact, they are some of the most caring, genuinely nice people that one would like to have as relatives.

Stop with the judgmental insinuations and hypocritical hand-wringing.  It's unbecoming.

If the church is producing the movie and spending tithe monies to do so, yes, the male actors should also be vetted for current issues of morality.

And the church should not have given such control over the some production company to do as they pleased.

No matter how accomplished she may be, she was also involved in starring in films of lesbianism and pornography almost at the same time she was portraying Sister White.

I tend to not be impressed with going along with the idea of using such films because we think God can use it. Similarly, Adventist pastors should not be producing erotica as a means to teach things to young people.

What Andrew Garfield may or may not do is not really relevant. The church did not that I am aware of fund or produce the movie Hacksaw Ridge. The Doss family had some control of it. I have not heard of tithe money being used to produce Garfield's movie.

How nice an entertainer may be is also irrelevant! Many people seducing people into wrong things are very nice about it.

"Judgemental insinuations"? "hypocritical handwringing"? That is funny.

hohoho.  Spare me the idea that SDAs are morally pure.

So you perhaps endorse the idea of doing moral exposés on the past life and behavior of any non-SDA with whom the church might do business?  Really?

I guess the church needs another level of hierarchy:  Office of Moral Exposé and Comstockery.  It could also be used to keep the riff-raff out of joining the morally pure Adventist church....

Nothing like keeping busy pointing out the sins of others.... the spreading of the gospel can be tossed in a mud puddle and ignored, whilst the more important job of keeping "unsavory" people away from poisoning the waters of Adventism is paramount.   Said God never.   (It's actually a spectacular tool that Satan gives freely — it works great, it makes the accusers feel "good", and it keeps the focus away from Christ.)

IS THAT really the point that needs to be made here?  I better not say what this reminds me of. Possible Adventist Hot Potato, I am sure.

If only we had perfect people to sing, preach, act, etc. God knows that unless one is perfect one is not worthy to participate in such productions.

Photodude, said in the quote below:

Have you obtained what the pastor you are thinking of actually wrote?  Have you read what she actually wrote?  If you have not, you are only repeating gossip, and you do not have a factual basis for implying that she wrote erotica.

In addition, if you are going to continue to bring this pastor up, you need to say that it was fully investigated by the Conference that employees her and she has expressed regret for how her work has been perceived.

I have obtained the published work that you reference.  I have read it.  I do not consider it to be pornographic.    I do consider it to be poorly written in one place.

I suggest that you imply something that is false.  I suggest that you be more accurate in what you post.

If people who play "good" roles in religious movies have to have a lifetime of purity and goodness, no religious movies would ever have been made.  For sure, no one would be worthy to play Jesus.

In the book:

A number of words were used that I suspect you would not appreciate seeing written here in this forum.

A central theme of the story was a claim by one of the characters that a road accident had happened because they were in the midst of oral sex when the accident happened.

One character in this story wishes that another character would go to prison where they would pass him around. (This is one of the more hideous character qualities of many "good" people. The wish to send someone to jail where they hopefully will be repeatedly raped by the other inmates. You hear this one all the time. Never mind that jailhouse rape is a real and far bigger problem than heterosexual rape in "free"  society.)

If a member of the church were openly engaged in the production of pornography they would likely be disfellowshipped. But then, maybe not. The line of unacceptable behavior is getting hard to find anymore.

Then we don't want to judge a non-church member who actually does act in lesbian and pornographic films (in nearly the same time frame as this film, we are not talking about something remote) and we are so loving  that, "hey! ... let's let her play the part of Sister White!" IF ... she had in the past done such and was now repentant, it would be a very different story.

There is much in SOP regarding church discipline. But maybe you don't like EGW. Unfortunately, there is also things relative to church discipline in the Bible. Maybe we can just cut that out while we are at it.

I still believe that the people responsible for this in the church should have been more careful with what they are doing with church funds, i.e., the money that many members contribute to the church. Many people sacrifice and do without so some can squander their funds.

O.K,  Thank you for telling us, as i understand it, that you have the complete book on your computer and that you  have read the part written by her.

*  I, also have written the complete portion written by her.

*  I will say that there is a section that I consider to be poorly written and subject to misunderstanding.

*  However, I do not  consider that section, or any other to be either pornographic, or erotic, even if I do not consider it to be quality writing.

*  She has been investigated by the Conference that employees her.

*  She has expressed regret for what she wrote.

*  Due process has been followed.  Appropriate actions have been taken.  Denominational policy has been followed.  Even if you do not know all of the details.

It is  time to let it go.

I wonder what that actually means? Some fair questions were made, and verified points brought to our attention. This appears to go much deeper & wider than just a movie.
