Feminism is a Rebellion

So, it seems that a group of men from the Whole Life Church, formerly Florida Hospital Church have produced a video mocking those who follow the vote of the delegates at the 2015 General Conference and those who do not buy into the aims of those who pursue the ordination of women as pastors in the Seventh-day Adventist Chruch. Truly sad as some of the commenters of this video also noted that this kind of mockery which is going on.

Part 1: Feminism is being Spearheaded by Wimpy Men Who Reject the Clear Teachings of Scripture

When men become wimpy and abdicate their position as leaders they distort the divine plan. Men who fail to instruct their families in the ways of God, who fail to provide for the basic needs of their families and who are too passive and cowardly to lead the home are outside the will of God. Weak men distort God’s image and fail to represent Him as the true husband (Isaiah 54:5).

Women who want to usurp and undermine the authority of their husbands are violating God’s divine design. Women who resist the leadership role of their husbands are in rebellion to the word of God. In fact, if women do not submit to the godly men in their lives, they will never submit to the God of heaven.

According to the feminist movement, all who believe in what the Bible says about the distinct roles between men and women are bigots and hate-mongers.

Part 2: Feminism is a Rebellion Designed to Destroy the Church

Feminism, in all of its manifestations, is incompatible with this divine plan and therefore is incompatible with the Bible. The ultimate aim of feminism is to destroy the God-given role of husbands and fathers.

As to the video first cited by Photodude, and produced by a SDA Church in Florida:

*  That video was just one of a series of videos of about 4 minutes in length.

*  All are well scripted and professionally produced.

*  They address subjects that are important issues within Adventism and/or Christianity in general.  An example is the video suggesting that children should not be allowed to grow up to be pastors.

*  Yes, the manner in which they are addressed will be offensive to some.  But they should stimulate thought.

*  Regardless, There are multiple issues that the SDA denomination faces today that must be addressed and resolved.
