But there is also another side to it. I am happy getting up talking, preaching, teaching a SS class, even a one to one Bible study, demonstrating vegetarian dishes, etc. But put me alone at church with a person I had never met and my mind goes blank. I don't know what to say to them. I can join in a conversation -- but to start one with a stranger, I just freeze. I am only admitting to this publicly hecause I want you to know that there may be reasons why, when visiting a new church, not every one rushes up to greet you. Well, that has done it now -- but, hey, if you ever happen to come to my church and you see me standing there looking like a duck out of water, just say, "Hi, I am Nico" -- and watch me come to life, give you a big hug, and never stop talking!!
