Parade Orange
thats a very good question Quote All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD"there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness. Nicodema
Only one thing, huh? Nicodema
If people would be authentic, really care about others instead of just trying to layer a thin veneer of good behavior over top to make themselves SEEM like they care, and for heaven's sakes, stop playing little games like they think a body was born yesterday! Well ... it would be a start. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot

Nicodema
I am a nexus; therefore the two are inextricably intertwined. Having said that, I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the last 7 years. None of you deserved that. Of course, neither did I deserve what created it. Nicodema
That's a very sweet wish Pam! []http://img.inkfrog.com/pix/Rudywoofs/squeeze.gif[/] You too Gail. We'd probably get arrested quickly for randomly hugging children, but we could always go to nursing homes and spread some love to the older folks. Nicodema
I wish the US Gov't would pull it's head out of its rear end and stop thinking the best thing to do for its citizens is to increasingly lock us down in a bureaucratic prison-fortress as if WE were the criminals. I wish the rest of the world would realize we are being held prisoner here (will be even moreso by the end of this year) and just bust in and free us all already. Fran
My wish/prayer everyday is that God will give me the strength to live today. One day at a time. One minute at a time. That he will wake me in the morning for a new day. When that is finished I pray that I will be raised in the right resurection. Quote The greatest want of the world is the want of men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true & honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty..., men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.{Ed 57.3}

Joy
I recently heard of a new category - the "Nearly Elderly" - No joke. I think the age range was 55-64. Doubt that helps. The person that was getting ready to talk about that to us first apologized to several at the table before she even mentioned the classification. And so it goes...
