One reason is that we cannot verify that such requests are valid. A second reason is that it costs money to run this forum. We do not charge a fee to be a member. WE invite people who want to contribute to a worthy cause to help to fund this forum. On occasion the management of this forum may publish a request for funds. That will be an exception and is not a change in the fundamental policy. NOTE: I have deleted a request for funds. My doing so does not indicate that the request was not valid. It may have been a valid request. But, it violated a rule of this forum.
