Your vote is only one of many. It does not count

Election day, November, 2006, Dacono, Colorado:

The race for Mayor was a very tight one. The incumbent was running against a challenger.

When the votes were all counted, the announcement was that the incumbent had won by ONE VOTE.

NOTE: Under Colorado law, there will be a recount. So, it is not over yet.

I like Mexican law better where they won't do a recount unless there was evidence of fraud.

So what if they do a recount and the other guy wins by one vote? Who is to say which count was right?
