Things that are important to God should be important to us. But it is possible to be out of harmony with what is important to God and fail to see that those things are going to impact us one way or the other. The lost don't know that they are lost. But if the saints are content to take "the wait and see attitude" that the people in Noah's day took, when it was raining they discovered that it was too late! Today's saints like those in Noah's day, should do some important things before it is too late. But as I read Christ's parable, the wait and see attitude will bring about the loss of 5 of the ten Virgins. I don't want to be among the 5 that wake up too late.
