Artist formally know as PRINCE

Last night I was at a special function, an award cermony (for details go to http://www.arktrust.org/genesis/awards_history_2000.asp ) Many of the presenters either shop at my ABC in Glendale or have ther personal shoppers come in.<P>The interesting thing is the the artist formally know as prince was there. He has made some press releases in the past couple of months saying that he was brought up an SDA. I had always heard that but thought it was another Adventist Urban legend.<P>Strange but true.

If you receive benefit to being here please help out with expenses.

An article written several years ago in Rolling Stone Magazine stated that Prince was raised by his SDA aunt in MN.

Hmmm, that's interesting about Prince.<P>Several years ago I had heard that Ozzie Osbourne, formerly of Black Sabbath, was raised an Adventist and that he even attended Loma Linda. I have not really believed this but you never know. Anyone else ever heard that or know whether this urban legend has any merit?<BR>If true it should be a sobering reminder how far one can fall if you are not firmly connected to the Source of our strength!

Ozzie Osbourne is from England, so I doubt that he attented Loma Linda. I have heard that his dad was an SDA pastor in England and that several members of Black Sabbath were SDA's. I'm not sure how true that is. <P>I've also heard that Marilyn Manson was raised SDA.

at least a decade ago while at campmeeting at walla walla I recall looking at old pictures of walla walla college students on the walls of the halls in the college and having other youth point out Ozzy Ozzbornes picture. This could be one of those memories of a young kid getting fooled by older teens, I'm not sure. Anyone else know anything about Ozzy attending at Walla Walla?
