Administrators Naomi Posted November 11, 2004 Administrators Share Posted November 11, 2004 Yes, I do believe we will realize many world-wide issues due to his . It should make life interesting for a while. It's always difficult for a wife and close friends when they loose a loved one; especially one as powerful as Arafat. Dr. Shane
We got Saddam and now Arafat is gone. We just need Ossama and the world really will be a safer place. What a wasted life. Cases such as his must really sadden the heart of God. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... bevin
One hopes that the next generation of leaders for Israel, the Palestinian's, in Iraq, in the USA, and many other countries will do better than the current ones. In each of those countries, there is certainly a lot of room to do better. /Bevin
Guest
I heard on some newstalk radio show that many think ARAFAT was gay and died of aids. I read a long time ago in some news magazine that he was a pedophile with boys
aldona
My own private theory is that he was poisoned by the Israelis...there was a recent article in "The Australian" in which it was stated that Arafat's personal physician in Ramallah was suspicious enough to call for a post-mortem...and said none of the treating doctors in Paris ever communicated with him in spite of the fact that he had been responsible for Arafat's health care for decades. I guess we'll never know... aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music? Dr. Shane
It's a conspiracy. Blame the Israelis. Who can trust a Jew, right? Give me a break. He was 75 years old!!! If the Israelis wanted to kill him they could have done it years ago. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... aldona
If it were the Albanians or the Mongolians or the Guatemalans who happened to be in conflict with the Palestinians, it would be them in the scenario. My grandparents hid Jews in Poland during World War 2, and I have absolutely nothing against the Jewish race. But I was just trying to follow the story from a medical perspective...and I find it puzzling that nobody has managed to come up with a definite diagnosis...and that the medical records were to have been sealed and not made public...it just seems strange. Why don't they do an autopsy so that we, the public, don't have to have these useless speculations? As for killing Arafat - Ariel Sharon has made no secret of the fact that Arafat could not be ruled out as a target of assassination. How many other Palestinians, guilty of fewer terrorist acts than Arafat, have met with this fate? It would have caused complete chaos and anarchy to have done this in an obvious way such as bombing or shooting. It is not like I am the only one who thinks this whole thing smells a little suspicious...even members of Arafat's own Al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigade referred to his death as a "murder" and have vowed to avenge it. Anyway, I hope something good can come out of all this and the peace process can move forward. aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music? Dr. Shane
Mistery is solved.
