Jim Morrison

I have heard several times that jim morrison of the doors fame, was raised sda, that his dad was an sda pastor. I have looked in some of his biographies and nothing is mentioned of this. It has been mentioned that his dad was a navy admiral but, nothing about being an sda pastor. Anyone have any info on this?

I to had heard that morrison was an adventist and all the other things that went with that. But than I saw a bio of jim morrison on the tube awhile back. What came across was that morrison's father was a chaplain in the military. I'm not sure which branch but I think they mention the Army. I say Army because they mentioned all the military bases that he was stationed at and they were all army bases. And I believe he was either a baptist or methodist minister. I hope this helps.<BR>

Let's not give up so easily. Jim Morrison most definitely became SDA. He faked his death and later appeared-in tip-top shape I might add-as the rock and roll apocolyptic figure of David Koresh. That's what made Waco such a tragedy. It's double jeopardy if I've ever seen it.
