Humans who are Christ

I was a little surprised when I read this. I did not know that Christ still walked this earth. To think that one of us could be Christ is sobering. Could my neighbor be Christ? What about that homeless man who comes to church smelling like garbage??

How would we behave differently if we KNEW for sure that the person next to us was actually Christ or an angel?

woow Redwood did she really said Christ? The bible says clearly that if someone says 'here is Christ do not believe him'. This Maitreya guy appears to people in the form of Christ and Buddha etc. He has his own non governmental organisation that is alligned to the United Nations. http://www.sharenl.org/

I really hope Ellen White didn t said that Christ comes to this earth to visit us. That s nonsense and unbiblical. I am on the brink of deciding to go SDA all the way, but statements like these prevent me from becoming a SDA.

Seeker. I personally don't find anything offensive in what she said. No one would know that Christ was here. He would not announce it. He is just a visitor ... watching and encouraging us in human form.

But then maybe I am reading what she said incorrectly. Just wait and see what others have to say ...

Seeker ... Also, if you look in the Bible you can see many instances of God and the Angels coming to this earth and sometimes in the human form.

Ok mate, i think you are right. There is probably a simple explanation for this. Ellen white learned more and more when the years passed by. she wasn t infallible. Once she denied the deity of Christ.

Yep ... I have learned being on CA ... that I have to stop jumping to conclusions. My interpretations of what I read are usually wrong. Being here provides me with a broad scope of ideas and interpretations.

Yes you are absolutely right. We should always complement each other. Every being apart is not strong, but if we are united in spirit and works in adittion with blessings from above, we can become a perfect body. You know, there were times when i thought that the whole unity theme in christianity is wrong because we are so divided, but now i realise why Christ thinks it is so important that we become one. THat s what i like about this forum. Of course we have different opinions but as long as we help and respect each other, we can still have unity so that nobody has to stand alone. I also like the fact that this is the only place where i am not hated. I hope that there won t be haters in heaven because it would make existence unbearable. The bible says that whoever hates his brother, is a murderer and murderers don t go to heaven.(unless they have repented of course). Anyway thanks for always being gentle.

This isn't talking about people appearing like Christ (which we are warned against); it is saying that Christ and the angels appear like people. Totally different, because no one is saying, "Look, Jesus is over here." No one even knows it is Jesus or an angel.

I think what she was talking about here is:

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

And

Jesus said to his disciples:

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory,

and all the angels with him,

he will sit upon his glorious throne,
