Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted September 14, 2008 Administrators Share Posted September 14, 2008 We know she did a lot for victims of domestic abuse when she was governor. We have no reason to doubt her commitment to women's rights. The only one accusing her of anything are partisan Democrats that obviously want Obama to win. I think she has been doing a lot of rather obvious flip flopping that is well documented by her record as mayor and governor compared with her current statements as VP candidate, usually to "explain" or minimize her prior actions or positions. And contrary to what you want to believe, few if any of these attacks are coming from "partisan Democrats". The article relies quite a bit on statements made by fellow Republicans. Tom Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.) Neil D
Have you guys looked at who she's leaving in charge of her state when she is gone? Why, it's the same men she defeated...And you say that she has cleaned up her state..a 'reformer" you say.... Hmmmm....not a lasting legacy I fear.... Dr. Shane
Bill Clinton's popularity was so low after two years as President that he lost Congress to the Republicans. Taking two months off to campaign is normal and an accepted practice. I am sure Sarah Palin's critics can make a list of things they don't like. That is to be expected. Her 80% approval rating speaks loader than her critics. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Dr. Shane
Those that don't know history are destined to repeat it. Clinton's popularity was so low in 1994 that his base did not go to the polls. The Republicans won because they went to the polls and voted while the Democrat base sat home. After the Republicans won, Clinton went along with many of their reforms which boosted his popularity and he won re-election in 1996. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor...
