Where's The Conspiracy?

Recommended Posts

I thought the Republicans were going to steal the election by hacking into the voting machines.

Will the far left now admit they were wrong? Did we not have a fair election in America?

Yes it was fair. All that Demo talk was nonsense.

But the reason that McCain lost was because of the drop in Oil prices. If they had remained high instead of dropping below $2 a gallon for gas ... then the cry DRILL Baby Drill would have resonated.

Wait a minute, Shane, there has not been enough time yet for the conspiracy theories to emerge...plenty of time for that in the next few days.

And I have been observing politics of all stripes and colors for long enough to know...both sides are just as capable of conspiracy theories.

Hard to believe the hackers stole the election from McCain and gave it to Obama when the results are turning out to be closer than the polls were.

Twould be an interesting twist IF the republicans challenged the vote and found all these fraudulent votes in the machines increasing the democratic votes and found someway to place it on the demos when they controled the boxes...

Still think the vote count should not be so close together....

3% in a country as divided as we are is pretty good for Obama. A lot of people just didn't buy the idea that everything is Bush's fault and the Democrats will save the world.

I don't have a lot of faith in Obama but I am willing to roll the dice. I know what I would have gotten with McCain. More of the same wasn't something I feared. Not at all. We live in the best nation in the world. More of the same means more of the best. But I am betting that Obama can make it even better. Maybe I am wrong and he will mess things up bad. If so, we boot him out in four years and take the Senate away from him in two.

Oh, you don't believe in political money and Obama now can spend it?

Yeah. We know all about Obama and his money. He bought this election and I suppose he can buy whatever he wants. He is used to it anyway.

Political capital? Bill Clinton had a lot of political capital and all he accomplished his first two years was raising taxes on everyone - including the middle class.

Obama will have even more political capital than Clinton had. No doubt. Is it enough? And how will he use it?

We are dealing a lot with economic philosophy. Things Obama wants to do haven't been successfully implemented. Taxing the wealthy and giving the money to the middle class. He wants to help the middle class by strengthening unions. I hope that works. It could backfire and drive more companies out of the US. Or maybe just to Texas (good for us). There are a lot of unknowns. I voted for Obama because I am willing to give these things a try. However I am not so gullible that I think everything is going to work out the way Obama hopes. Time will tell and... time takes time.

Excuse me, the word is "political capital" and those are Bushes words...You should have corrected me on that....

You didn't say political capital. You said political money. And Obama stole the election with lots of that money even though he promised not to.

That's because I couldn't remember how Bush said it..."Now I have political capital, and I am spending it." My mis-quote...my apologies...

Just remember, grousing about the loss will not endear you to your friends...

I seem to remember that you claimed to be the leading Jesuit around here.....I think that has been disproved....again...

Actually, I'm curious to know how this turns out:

It's possible that this, as well as all the publicity about fraud, helped to curb it.

Just a :<img src='http://clubadventist.com/forums/uploads/default_wee.gif' alt='wee'>: bit tangential...

I think the conspiracy threads may actually lead back to Barney Bush who, as it seems, went off - and tried to nip a Major Media reporter.

You go Barney!

The reason not much fraud was seen is because the Democrats won. Fraud only occurs when Republicans win.

Perhaps the hackers grew a conscience and flipped the other way? :)
