Taylor
And I know a girl from Korea that went to school one year in Spain and was fluent enough to preach a campaign in a central american country in Spanish. She did a great job, but it was amazing to hear spanish come out of her mouth as latin base for Spanish and the base for Korean are worlds apart. aldona
Did you ever hear Chinese speaking Spanish?????????? Yikes !!!!!!!!! My mom had an interesting experience a few years ago when she went back to Poland to visit relatives.... Due to the large influx of migrant "guest workers" into various parts of Europe, there are now large numbers of African and Asian people in Poland. Mom said the weirdest thing was walking down the streets of Warsaw and hearing the blackest of jet-black skinned African people, often in their traditional African attire, speaking perfect Polish. aldona Quote www.asrc.org.au (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Melbourne)Helping over 2000 refugees & asylum seekers each monthIMSLP/Petrucci Music LibraryThe Public Domain Music Score Library - Free Sheet Music DownloadsLooking for classical sheet music? Liz
I feel sorry for animals that have to get all dressed up in people clothes. I know exactly what you mean, and I swore I would never be one of "those" people that did that. Then I got a Yorkie, and she insists that in the winter time she needs a little shirt, and of course, she can't go outside without her winter coat. So, o.k. I will consent that we will just dress her up, but only when it is cold. Then my son got this long haired Chihuahua and she likes to wear a sweater even around the house; and she insists on a thick coat for going outside. So sometimes it really is the dog and not their owners. Quote For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Goin' outside is a bit rough on the natural coat and unless you get me one like what you got, I ain't going outside for nofin'! Just who is leading the pack here, girl? If she doesn't have her coat on, she just stands on the porch and shivers and shakes quite visably and stares at me with those huge soulful eyes, she does everything but chatter her teeth. And she won't get off the porch. Once I put her jacket on her, she happily jumps down off the porch and runs around. No shaking or shivering. I lead my pack, but as a good pack leader I know what my members need. Right now she is telling me she needs a cookie.
