darlene
At the NAD Ministries Convention in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in January, George Barna shared that 37% of the unchurched in North America is made up of the never-married-single adult. Most of these he said have gone to church while growing up but now do not. Could this be true of those in the Adventist Church also? I suspect that is the case. Could this also be a reason why 52% of the adult population (in Canada) are single? Single adults in our Adventist Church have felt this way for a long time. They do not feel accepted. Seems this sends a strong message to us in the Adventist Church.
