Meet the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act......

The initial text of H.R. 1955 states its aim clearly enough before falling into obfuscation -- "to prevent homegrown terrorism, and for other purposes" -- a characteristic that could be argued to be its defining template.

Speaking of definitions (or the lack thereof), H.R. 1955 defines "homegrown terrorism" and "violent radicalization" nebulously; the former is merely "the use, planned use or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives," while the latter means "the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious or social change." Ideologically based violence, in turn, is defined as "the use, planned use or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious or social beliefs."

Need I remind you that the old testament we so dearly love is condemned by many as a violent book, inciting violence.

Yeah, our freedoms are almost nil anymore. That's why the police can get away with arresting peaceful demonstrators, or even *potential* demonstrators.

Yeah, our freedoms are almost nil anymore. That's why the police can get away with arresting peaceful demonstrators, or even *potential* demonstrators.

How many demonstrators or potential demonstrators do you know that were arrested?

You have the freedom to work and a job you are qualified for. You have a right to purchase what you want if you have the money to pay for it.

You have a right to attend the church of your choice. You have the right to choose the education you wish for your children.

You have the right so far to speak out about your government. You as in general can call them names, accuse and no one comes to break your knee caps.

What freedoms have you been deprived of??

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

Umm, or, how about the circulating report:

“ "The Modern Militia Movement" compiled by the Missouri Information Analysis Center, a "fusion center" in Jefferson City that combines resources from the federal Department of Homeland Security and other agencies.” [/ed jasd]

This is the report that is being distributed to Missouri law enforcement – guys with guns... who are now apprised that the homegrown terrorist is likely to be identified by a bumper sticker for Ron Paul, or who discusses the Federal Reserve in uncomplimentary terms, or... displaying a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag in your car’s rear window(?).

Funny, that the US Civil Code defines ‘Militia’ – as every able-bodied male (and since the mid-sixties, female also) between the ages of ‘late teens to early Social Security’; whereas, now

“Militia” seems to be defined as ‘probable terrorist’.

Yikes! we’s met the enemy and him’s and her’s all been elected by the madding masses, guv.

Oh, speaking of "food"..., don't wantin' tah be ruinin' anybody's day, but - try Googling - 'worldwide drought and food production'. It's realtime: like now, already; currently ongoing; developing; etc. Oy!

>>How many [...] you been deprived of??<<

That is, by de facto, true; however, not any longer by de jure. Our Constitution has been turned on its ear. We, in fact, have been deprived of our natural standing as free citizens (some what sez: that is how it is that Obama, born in Kenya and a subject of the Queen, can be POTUS – bound up in corporate law, you see...). What our founding fathers fought to bequeath us permanently – have been relegated to the impermanence of ‘at will’, today. The implementation of existing laws, which severely and almost entirely, restricts our supposed freedoms – are but a hair and the whisper breath of a Damoclesian sword’s – remove from our collective necks. For instance,

one might review the ‘UN Genocide Treaty’, signed into law by our good Conservative Ronnie Reagan (the same Reagan who ordered the institution of REX 84 – concentration camps for US citizens. Incidentally, it was the conservative’s Conservative – Oliver North, who headed the project), and note that we are now legally – under the restrictions and provisions contained therein (as Int’l Treaties supercede our Constitution), but presently – not being implemented.

The same Treaty makes it illegal to possess a copy or part(s) thereof – of the Xtian Bible, or to proselytize from its contents – etc. It is, per the wording of the Treaty,

a Hate Crime to do so...

I thought Obama's birth certificate said he was born in Hawaii, or is that the queen you were referring to?

I was just reading in the last day or so that our church is one of several that are fighting a ban on religious books in prisons. Good grief, who needs religious books more than prisoners?!

Yes you are correct, he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.

By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

No one of us has seen anything other than a facsimile of a 'Certificate of Live Birth' issued in Hawaii. His 'Birth Cerificate', if indeed, he has been issued one - has been sealed: meaning,

it is none of our business, as we have no 'standing' in court, or elsewhere, to press the matter, it seems.

>>...the queen...<<

Elisabeth of The UK, Queen. Kenya being part of the Commonwealth, as I recall..., ipso facto, Barry Omugabe (sorry, couldn't resist - as there appears a striking similitude re monie$) is a subject of the Queen.

Barry's granmum, is on record as stating that she witnessed his '...Life Birth' in Kenya.

(sorry mess...) but then, Writ does state that we shall go even unto Babylon (economic slavery?), doesn't it?

Some are really wishin' that Granmum had spoken up more about this little known fact.

Granmum said that a long time ago. Calling it a fact is a little bit of a stretch. Somehow I can't picture Obama's mom going to Kenya to give birth.

Mebbe, mebbe not; however given that everything has the (unfortunate?) 'strangeness' of becoming unavailable - such as his papers permitting entrance to the Indonesian school he attended, the documents permitting the visit to Pakistan, the incidental papers relevant to his higher education... well,

seems tah the curious that - there's an inordinate amount of 'strangeness'

appending the man.

Whilst we're on "...food for thought" - loosely:

“Today I got a call from a very good friend and one that has contact with some pretty prominent people. He was so sad, scared and worried, didn't want to pass on bad news but felt he should let me know. One of his close friends has a good source of information plus a high security clearance informed him that over the summer you would see more and more deployment by the military, come the end of summer into the early fall there "WILL" be martial law. The food source is being dried up gradually. Food will become so scarce and expensive families will be going hungry. This will be the start of a civil uprising and the military will be called into service to quell the looting, stealing, killing and destruction of property. This is all planned. Believe it or not but at least take the time to prepare for it just in case.

I am not telling you this is the gospel but I know where the information came from and it is certainly a credible source.

[...]

DO NOT make your plans known to your neighbors unless they are also doing the same thing. When the SHTF there will be so many people on the streets looking for food for their families you will be a target. Just remember even a honest hardworking Christian will turn to anything to feed his children. He will steal, lie, even kill to keep his children from starving. Wouldn't you?”

Ahhh no, say it ain’t so, Joe! ...even the normally “honest hardworking Xtian”? do “anything”? just to “feed his kids”? Wha’s his wife gonna be doin’?

“...even kill...” Even KILL!? Yikes!

Get the [...] outta here! Anytheways, we gooduns will be eating guaranteed manna and be impervious to perpetrated violence, yes? Okaaay, so at least go to

Trader Joe’s – and buy banana chips that you might bake some banana manana...

Speaking of...

>>People are uneasy or just plain scared.<<

I hear from friends that what is occurring here in Oregon – is reflected where they live; that is, “uneasy or just plain scared”, or otherwise, mebbe, cautious people

are purchasing gun-related items such as: ammunition, cartridges, bullets, cleaning supplies, powder, primers, reloading equipment, etc - to such an extent that – it is almost humorous to view

the empty shelves in sporting goods outlets with nothing on them except

:<img src='http://clubadventist.com/forums/uploads/default_wee.gif' alt='wee'>: slips of paper denoting who gets first call upon any replacements delivered...

The running joke here’bouts is that this county is better armed than the Nat’l Guard.

Oy vay!

Moreover, people shopping in the local Box Stores are beginning to buy their groceries by the case rather than as they’ve previously shopped – an item or two at a time...

One hopes that they are more fools them, as I kinda like the USofA as it was - remembering it.

I also heard that President Bush was building concentration camps in the deserts with gas chambers to put all SDA's into. Well Bush is gone and where are those concentration camps now. I would not put much faith into those kinds of unverified Stories. There will always be wild stories like that.

Yeah, but you never heard that here without it being challenged. And none of those stories were confirmed and in fact were debunked.

Several years ago a story came out from a soldier that the US military was training to join the UN army and that the US would be occupied by UN forces and even now US forces were putting on UN uniforums in training sessions on US soil.

Turns out that the US military was indeed training in UN uniforms but not to take over the US but to go on a peacekeeping mission with Europe in Bosnia and Serbia during the late 1990's.

Strange how a little truth can be so distorted into such a wild story. I think that this story about food shortages will also prove to be overblown. Yes food prices will go up as Oil Prices increase and gas will go to $3 to $4 a gallon again this summer. But shortages. NO. More expensive? I have no doubt of that.

Glenn Beck is a very interesting man. He sounded like a man with a deep and passionate faith. When I first heard him I was puzzled where he was getting his "facts". While not everything he says coincides with what I believe as to what will happen to those being persecuted he was pretty darn close. He has been sounding the alarm at least for the past year and there are those that like to refer to him as a wack job.

Neil,it would be interesting to hear which "conspiracy' you ridicule him for.

Aside from all the Rhetoric the Truth and Facts are that Martial Law will not work for an extended period of time in America….

If the US military can’t control the situation in Iraq for too long, do you really think they can maintain martial law in all 50 states in America for any period of time ?

As it stands now you are correct. That is what makes Obama so dangerous. Bit by bit in "the interest of fairness" it will be come possible

They’re dreaming…

The streets in every city would fill up with gun battles between citizen militias and the occupying military troops..

Oh they can start rounding up people in the big cities and confiscating weapons left and right but eventually a mass revolt will ensue and people will eventually realize that they would rather shoot and die than be taken to a camp to be tortured and God knows what.

This is just a mental masturbation exercise by the Pentagon and nothing more..

The Pentagon has already reported the nightmares that it would have in trying to take over a nation only slightly bigger than Iraq, meaning Iran. So imagine them trying to corral us at home…

No, America isn’t Nazi Germany and the Jews which was a significantly lower population. We’re much bigger and more freedom loving than they were…

No we are not more freedom loving than that. There is a large population of "freedom lovers" that are enjoying the power grab of a president of our country.

We gloat when he targets and demonizes others. We don't care it was a fraud and that he was lying in his supposed outrage.

We care only that someone is going after the vulgar rich.

We care we finally have a man in office that will "make things fair"

We care that those selfish people will be restricted in their use of energy.Money, transportation and medical care and they pretty well have us.

This is just more fear mongering and will lead to a much quicker revolt by the masses!

The blow back and back draft are going to be fierce!

It just isn't going to happen....not like what you are saying....

I don't think Rev was meant to be fear mongering. I think that events portrayed there were meant to educate and give hope.

You do not know how it will happen,no one does. It is not the actions that are the biggest concern,it is the response and inaction of those that think we can flirt with losing select freedoms to "the good guys" and be safe and secure from them ourselves
