What Ron Paul says ...

Recommended Posts

Ron Paul says that with all this spending ... "we are now unable to pay our bills" to China etc on our loans .... "even if we sold every acre of land in the United States".

Folks .... each family of 3 owes the government over $100,000 dollars with the debt that we have in this nation. We don't have that kind of cash inflow available. And the debt keeps growing under President Obama.

This will collapse. It can not sustain itself. We have to stop the borrowing and spending.

Yes ... what is Obama doing?

May we be one so that the world may be won.

Because America had no foreign debt at all before January 2009, right?

The past is the past. Throwing around blame is not productive. A discussion of what we should do NOW though IS.

OK, I'ma come and rob your house and steal everything you own. Then when you try to get me arrested or try to get any of your stuff back, I'll say 'The past is the past. Throwing around blame is not productive...'

Okay. Let's just continue down the borrowing and spending plans of Obama.

Redwood, you were the one blaming Obama. There's plenty of blame to go around, and it's ridiculous to put it all on Obama. Where were you when GW was doubling the national debt? If you didn't speak up then, you obviously don't care about the national debt, so you shouldn't speak up now.

At some point it has to stop. Just because Bush did something does not mean that we should justify Obama doing it.

So it's ok if your guy does something, but let's not let someone else do it. No, the point it should have stopped was about five years ago. Nobody really cares now. You wanted people to move on - they have moved on.

So ... it is just back to spending our grandchildren's money and drive this country into the ground just because you don't want your guys to have to stop? I don't understand.

um...I was wondering around and stumbled upon this conversation....I'm lost, ya know....

Boy, out of the mouths of babes.....

Um, let me think...Bush starts the spending, Bush starts the war, and Obama, having his path already laid out by his predicesor, must contine with the spending and must continue with the war and Obama is left to fix that mess left by the predisosr....Obama's hands are tied, and he gets the blame for it....

So ... it is just back to spending our grandchildren's money and drive this country into the ground just because you don't want your guys to have to stop? I don't understand.

That's not what is troubling them, Redwood...What is troubling them is YOUR attitude....They are not liking your griping and they don't like it one bit....You started this, and they don't like it...You can't lay this on anyone but you...

But what do I know? I'm lost, remember?

Not sure why you think I didn't speak before I have always been a conservative in regards to spending ... but anyways .... maybe I am a new convert. But then it is not about me ... it is about this country and doing what is best for it.

Oh, do you really expect us to believe that you are "just a babe" in this, Redwood?

You have consistantely been trashing anything that is from the dems. Your posts have been very toxic to any sort of discussion...

But what do I know? I've been told to "get lost"....

Neil. You certainly are lost. But I hope you will be found. I am trying to set you straight. But I think you like your lost condition.

Again ... The issue IS ... What is NOW best for our country?

Can we agree to move forward with that?

The rapidity with which the president and those of his party could feign shock and disgust over an issue they knew and approved of should be a wake up call to any SDA.

Using the might of the federal government including the president to target a specific group that had not violated any law, inciting enough anger that death threats were issued.

Whether events that have happened signal the beginning of the time of the end or if it is years away there can't be much question any longer how it could take place. And just how fast.

It is almost funny to see SDA's accept so easily something that will be brought to bear against them someday.

Personally I think Obama is a socialist or holds to socialist ideology, thinly disguised as a democrat.

Every person that was influential in his life from a young child, every mentor, his spiritual mentor, professor's ,family that shaped him to be the man he became,is socialist,I know there are a couple of marxists, and a communist or two.

What is ahead cannot be accommplished in a free society.

Good Points Bonnie. Not many are appreciating what they see in Obamonomics.

Weirdest definition of socialism ever: take money from the middle class and give to the super-rich.

I think it's too late for that. GW screwed this country up so bad, there's not much hope for it now. The Republicans are determined to carry on his legacy and be uncooperative of anything different. I give credit to Obama for standing firm about not governing based on anger, but he has a tough row to hoe because people are nothing but angry.

The Demos don't need ANY cooperation with the Republicans. They are in control.

Is this the closest to a "I'm sorry that I told you to 'Get lost." Please come back?"

Because , with a "yes" answer, I am willing to move forward with that....

I am curious what Obama was doing during his time as senator. The president should be held responsible to a large degree but..

Have you looked at Obama's voting record during this time he keeps saying he inherited? Was he sounding the alarm or voting for and in favor of every liberal bill that came his way.

Bush certainly was not conservative in spending. So what? That is then and many did not like it or was not in favor of.

Many now tho love the fact he is going to outspend Bush with a vengence.

The tax break for 95% is a hoot. Beginning April 1 they will get a whopping 8-10.00 per week. Can't buy milk for a family.

The 5% that Obama wants to pay and pay is not enough to pay for what he is doing. The bar will be lowered and lowered.

The tax hike for a few will fall on those that he claims to feel so strongly about.

When cap and trade goes into effect who do you think will pay. That will be passed on.

Tax the small business man and as much as possible falls into the lap of the purchaser.

When they removed lead from paint and the disposal of containers became very costly guess who paid. The one hiring my husband to decorate their home.

It appears that tracking devices will soon be a fact of life in Mn and other states. It will cost MN 5 million to research and put into law. You will be tracked where and how many miles.

Pushing national health care. The federal government cannot handle medicare and SS in a financially sound way. We pay more for insurance now on medicare than we paid before the government wanted to take over our health care. I would really have been quite content to not have them try to save me money

Listening to his speech tonight he has one thing in mind. More and more government control. Redistribute the wealth.

What right do I have to expect those that make more, probably have worked harder, taken more risks than I contribute to my welfare?
