What Ron Paul says ...

Nice conservative Republican rant and recital of all the causes celebre, but it has nothing to do with either what Ron Paul said (which was irrelevant to Obama) or with anything Obama is actually *doing* now. Just lots of dark imaginings.

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

Yes, bonnie. Those should be left to those on the left. They've been perfecting it for years.

Yes Redwood ... I agree with you. But it seems that the Demos only want to approve of their mistake of choosing Obama as their leader. They really would rather stick up for Obama than to move on and do what is best for our country.

I suppose that's why they are approving his proposals w/o question....NOT.

By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

"The right marched in uncritical, creepy devotion to Bush for the first six years of his presidency. The left has been leading the way in criticizing Obama when warranted."

Because you and others disliked/hated whatever the Bush presidency and held his supporters to a dim view now regardless of what it is,Obama now gets a pass.

How much of a pass/how long till those that hold themselves a bit higher than those that supported Bush take a good look at what is happening?

How much power are we to give him in the interest of fairness?

The bailing out of the newspapers that is beginning to get more play. Make them non-profit. Wonderful plan for free speech.

Cap wages or bonuses of private companies that have not been bailed out?

The right to take them over? Certainly plays into the green eyed monster shown by so many. So happy to stick it to the rich they could care less if it gets stuck to them as well.

It won't be a trickle down,it will be a flood.

If Obama supporters believe they should have 6 years to follow lock step we won't have to worry.

No president has expressed so many clear messages of socialistic intentions.

Did you read the article? The whole point was that those on the left who criticised Bush are also criticising Obama. It's the exact opposite of everything you said.

That's because all these people like to do is criticize.

Or, you know, they actually care about the direction their country is going and get involved in seeking to improve it.

That could be true, but I think they just love to complain.

You may not see the difference. Instead of Obama being critized he should just plain be stopped from turning the US into a socialist country.

Criticism of Obama is very mild.

Listen to Timothy Geithner. Just listened to him he seems to think a global currency has merit. This less than steller human being can't follow the tax code but guess he can write it.

How many did you hear soundly going against Obama and friends of determining wages/bonuses of private companies. Now longer sounds much like a free capitalist country.

It was interesting to hear my congresswoman question Geithner.

When she kept asking about their actions and the constitution he could not address it.

When someone takes a strong stand against Obama's aim then maybe those criticing will be taken a little more seriously.

And Redwood, I'm very pleased to see that you agree that bonnie's imaginings were 'very dark indeed'.

Spell out what is imaginings.

Did you mean those that influenced and shaped Obama as to the ideology as a adult?

Did you mean his game playing with using the power of the presidency against a group that had broken no law?

Did you mean when it became obvious he was lying and was not shocked and appalled about the bonus?

Did you mean his stated desire to redistribute wealth?

That happens to be a socialist agenda?

Maybe you like the idea of the president being able to set bonuses from private companies. Those that haven't prostituted

themselves?

How about those tracking devices for cars, see how much you drive and by all that is right and fair you are going to pay and pay. It is thought that we will soon have it.

The really interesting thing is the difference between SDA's and those that really don't profess a stated belief.

I belong to several forums for the business I have. Members don't wear their religion on their sleeves. To read what they have to say and then what SDA's say, mindboggling.

Over and over the past few weeks in the general discussion has been the "mark of the beast" "what is it". Is this what Rev is talking about? Isn't what they are doing against the constitution?

Doesn't matter if this is the forunner to the time of trouble or not.

There is no incident in history where a president has walked over the constitution and everyone cheers. All because of their own greed and envy.

At least they will pay right along with their dreaded enemy the "vulgar rich"

Maybe that tax cut of 8-10.00 a week will help as energy cost and most everything else goes sky high.

Good Points Bonnie. Not many are appreciating what they see in Obamonomics.

“The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples’ money to spend.” Margaret Thatcher

Who has been spending money they don't have? And borrowing other people's money to spend? None other than the great nation of democracy - the USA!!! While the last great stronghold of communism/socialism is piling up huge reserves and lending to the USA!

I have not seen where Bush went against the constitution. I have seen accusations as yours but have yet to see where he did.

The comment referencing Obama and the constitution should have been "where a president is willing to walk over the constitution.

My error in not double checking.

Obama by his own admission sees the constitution as granting negative liberties and not going far enough.

His grand performance over the bonuses was a lie from beginning to end. He was a constitutional law scholar. He knew the posturing about this was a joke. He knew he was throwing the power of the office of the president and the the federal government at totally innocent people. Threatening

something he had no right to threaten.

The scary part is not so much what the president does and knowing what he personally believes about our constitution that he has sworn to uphold.

It is those that were so gleeful about getting "revenge" over a innocent altho distasteful actions. So happy the president was actually threatening to overthrow contracts and take control and punish retroactive for a act they knew and

approved.

If the federal government goes after you for a legal but distasteful act I can figure out my turn may not be to far behind.

I don't recall that Obama ever suggested retroactive punishment or overthrowing contracts. I thought that came out of the Congress.

It was Obama who came out and spoke forcefully saying that he would do anything and everything within his power to get the bonuses back. HE also said he was shocked and surprised about them. Of course ... now we know that he knew all along.

Ron Paul has a bill pending to audit the federal reserve. That will never happen.
It needs to happen nonetheless.

Well, he was surely shocked and surprised that it became such an enormous issue! haha

But seriously, I don't think he ever suggested doing anything unconstitutional. That's not within his power, at least legally.
