Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted January 25, 2005 Moderators Share Posted January 25, 2005 I don't know if this belongs in Urban Legends. It's really true. I heard Dr. Dean Edell actually say this. On his radio program yesterday Dr. Edell was reading his own third grade report card, to illustrate that when he was a child, students regularly got weighed in school. He quoted his grades (Deportment was D!), and reading from his report card, he even gave the name of his teacher, and his school: "The [-- -- can't recall the exact name] Adventist Elementary School in New Jersey." I was driving so couldn't grab a pencil to write down the name of the school. But I'm sure he said he attended "Adventist" school in third grade at least.
