The left has it's ACORN,under investigation all over. They have the rent a mob as they sent to AIG employee's This however doesn't explain the polls, liberal or conservative polls. They are all showing the same thing. Those that supported Obama and this "change' he was bringing to them and read the bill, quickly changed their minds. It is only Obama that has not read the bill,,his cronies that have not read and have said they are not going to,and the groupie's that have not read and don't care to read what is coming down the pike with Obama care, that support this. Insurance running health care?? If the ability to have the medical tests and care you require is "insurance running health care" hope they continue. Beats the heck out of "bundling medicare payments" as Obama wants. Obama and his "medical thugs" would never have approved the tests my husband has had the last couple of weeks or the ones coming up. He would have been told to take a pain pill and go home. He does not have any productive value at this stage of his life according to government health care. But of course someone has to be interested enough to actually read what they are backing because it has Obama's name attcached. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Dr. Shane Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 All staged disruption and funded by the healthcare industry lobby. Far from a grassroots effort it is astroturf... I am not willing to rule that out but I haven't seen any evidence of that. All I have seen are talking heads from the Democratic Party claiming that to be the case. If the insurance companies are paying people to go to these town meetings there should be plenty of evidence of that. That said, most public protests are organized by some organization. That doesn't take away from the protest. Anti-war protests are all organized but we don't simply write them off as being recruited by some organization. Chris Matthews asked a good question. He asked where all the poor people are that need insurance. One can hardly claim that conservative groups are preventing poor people from attending these meetings. It looks like there is a real vocal element that is opposed to this healthcare legislation - much like there was a real vocal element opposed to the Iraq War. I don't see how that can be denied. Maybe the poor are in the details. Of the estimated 45-50 million people without insurance 10-15 million are illegal aliens that can receive care simply by going to the ER. 10-13 million are those that have opted out of carrying insurance BY CHOICE Another 10-12 million are eligble now for coverage under other programs but have not signed up. So instead of finding a way for a few million we will bankrupt the US and place the power the in the hands of government, giving them permission to have the utmost control over our medical care. CyberGuy Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 There is nothing that gets the american public angrier than to be told they are Nazis like Nancy Poloski said to the media. Also to be told they are not a grassroots revolution but bussed in fakes. The polls do not like. Obamas ratings has fallen 7 percentage points in two weeks. It stands at 50 percent approval and 42 percent disapproval. Give it another month at that rate and Obamas ratings will be more against the for him. That is an CNN poll. Not grass roots revote. You should hire on with the democrats media blitz. Sounds like you are following the democrats party line on that point. Quote Riverside CA

Unions sending in guys to beat up protestors at townhall meetings. Unions with union logs on their t shirts being let in back doors and beating up protestors out on the streets and protestors being denied entrance to townhall meetings. The white house said they would send in their own people to counter the protestors. I guess we now know what the white house was talking about. Thugs to beat up protestors. Thugs encouraged by the white house. Which is the greater Evil Tom. Protesting loudly or beating up people who protest loudly? Do you now defend these thugs? Quote Riverside CA
bonnie Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Listen to Obama telling those that were getting in his way of health reform to shutup. He wanted to hear from those that approved. But if you want a real chilling experience in the U S of America go to the website and let it be known you are going to turn someone in for opposition to the health care. It is interesting to turn oneself in to them. Quite an experience to hear them ask,not for content as to what was the objection but name and street address if possible of the "suspect" See if you can find the video of the 38 year old man,I believe he was selling things that got beatup by Obama's thugs and was sent to the hospital Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. CyberGuy Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 This is how the government works. My mom who is a nurse in the health care system says the government medicare pays only 80 cents on the dollar on what it costs to take care of medicare patients. In other words when it costs 100,000 for a procedure the government only pays $80,000 and tells the medical profession they cannot ask for more even if only pays a part of the care. They will do the same with national health care. Because the government can bully doctors into accepting only a part of the cost for reimbursement it natutally will cost less to join. Companies are proposed to pay only an 8 percent payroll tax if they join the public health care system. Since that is cheaper than what they pay for health benefits many employors will join since it is cheaper. It will be inferior care but it will be cheaper. More and more will join but many doctors will refuse to accept people on the public health care system. THere will be a shortage of doctors and health care will be rationed. This is what happened in Canada. Rationing to the point that a person with cancer is denied surgery because it will be to expensive and is given pain medication and essentially told to be quiet and die quickly since the cancer would be to expensive to treat. CyberGuy Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Canadians save their money in case they need an expensive surgury and go to the USA for that life saving surgury their own government refuses to allow them to have. Or else they are told to wait six months which in many cancer cases is a death sentence. In Six months the cancer would kill them. IS that what we want here for our country. Obama tells americans to shutup so he can pass the bill. He does this because he fears the american uprising against his plans. He fears that the townhall uprisings will convince enough senators to vote against his health care bill. If enough defect it will doom his bill. When the Blue Dog democrats wanted to wait until after the august recess to vote on the health care bill Obama told them. "You will destroy my presidency if you do not pass this health care bill." So you can see Obama is worried and is now resorting to tactics of bullying the american public. He will try to bully the congressmen and senators as will to pass his bill. Watch and see. The danger of this plan if it is passed is the bundling of medicare payments. Under that if the DR has or accepts 20 patients on medicare he is literally paid so much per head. He is not even required to see them to get paid. The price per head will be reduced if tests or specialists are needed. In and out and take a pill the Dr maintains his income Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. CyberGuy Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I wrote to my senator Diane Feinstein complaining about the health care bill and the following is her reply. It did not address my complaints so I feel it is a form letter sent out. ============================================================ Dear Mr. Nelson: Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns regarding health care reform, and the option for individuals to retain their current health care plans. I recognize the importance of this issue to all Americans, and I would like to take this opportunity to share my views. Health reform should build on our employer-based system and the millions of Americans who are satisfied with their health coverage should be able to keep their benefits. It is important to note that under the bills currently being considered, no American would be required to choose a public plan. People without insurance will have the option to select from one of several private plans or a public plan. Those who are happy with their current coverage can keep it. Other health reforms are also necessary. I strongly believe that any healthcare reform legislation should prohibit coverage denial based on preexisting conditions. Reducing healthcare costs is absolutely essential. Between 2000 and 2007, combined profits for 10 of the country's largest publically traded insurance companies rose 428 percent. I am concerned about the astronomical growth of entitlement spending, which makes up 56 percent of all federal dollars spent in 2009. Health reform must bend the healthcare cost curve, slowing the growth of entitlements in order to reduce our nation's debt and budget deficit. Any Senate health reform bill must improve California's complex health care system, and please know that I am working hard with my colleagues to make health care affordable for all Americans, without adding to the federal deficit. Again, thank you for writing. If you have any further questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-3841. Best regards. Sincerely yours, Dianne Feinstein United States Senator Quote Riverside CA

CyberGuy Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Quote: I would like to take this opportunity to share my views. Did you ask her what her view was? No I did not ask her for that. I was complaining about the cost of the new health care and the taxes it would impose on me. Estimated to be 5 to 10 percent of my income in additional taxes on my income alone. But Feinstein has made it clear she will vote the party line on this. I hope our Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will run for senator after his term is up in 2010. He may yet do that. That would make it interesting. Quote Riverside CA
