Pays the penalty to the law that results from our sinfulness. 2. Proves that God is love. 3. Convinces humans, angels, and the onlooking universe that all the claims Satan has made about God are lies. 4. Proves Satan a murderer. 5. Makes Christ the second Adam. He is now the perfect head of the human race, standing next to the throne of God. 6. Makes Christ the High Priest through whom we now have access to God. 7. Proves that Adam, who had much more advantages than Christ, could have obeyed the law. 8. Won the battle between Christ and Satan, thus making sure of Satan's fate. 9.
