How do I get there? When I go to forums (which is the only place I can find on CA to post a new topic) politics forum doesn't show up. Townhall is as close as I can come.

Can you not figure out what the thread is about from the title??

Ask the admin to let you in....

Those people are Gail, Amelia or Stan....

You can request from Shane if you can get into the forum as well, since he is the moderator of that forum.....

I try to make perfectly clear in the heading what the thread is about. Does having political stuff in "Townhall" mess up the server or something?

Townhall is where people become aquainted with Adventists. It is where people like to keep the subject platonic. Your specific questions or subject that can be controversial are encouraged to be limited to those forums...Townhall is a meeting place, and while it also is a place for politics, politics has been designated as off limits so as to not give a adverse opinion of Adventists in general...

And as you know, Karl, Adventists are known for thier opinions and thier didactic abilities to subtly convey thier meaning thru the written medium... yucky

....and yes, it messes up the server.... scared

Aren't you being just a bit computative in your mathematical analysis? Or is that just ONE opinion?

Since when is half equal to 0.18368787151530563590705362535363? At this stage of our writing, I'm begining to think being pleonastic is somewhat safer....

Do you know any thing government runs well. I do not know any thing. As soon as government lays hand on it, soon or later it will break. Look at the mess we are in with Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, VA system. The VA system will go belly up soon. Just like any other government organization it is top heavy and flooded with paper works. We all know abut Social Security system in RED. Medicare also. I used take accept Medicaid patients in my dental practice. I felt those are in need of some sort of government help. This was not true, many were abusing the ineffective government system. Once I wrote a letter to Medicaid office complaining that there are too many patients who should not be on Medicaid. I got a shocking response. "We need our job. We don't want to get them off the system"! This is the typical mentality of the government workers. I was so disgusted I quit taking Medicaid patients. The reimbursement is another thing. It took over three months to get paid at the rate of less than half of my fee. Now, there is no dentist in our city who takes Medicaid patients. Wish American people good luck with the government take over health system.
