COLUMBUS: Marjorie E. Andrews, 89, of Columbus, OH, died Friday, July 16, 2010 following a brief illness. Resident of many years in Byesville, OH, moving to Columbus, February, 2010. She was born May 22, 1921 in Mt. Vernon, OH to Thomas J. & Ethel Ralston Grimm. She spent early childhood in Knox County area before moving to Austin, TX and later to Luray, VA where she was a graduate of Luray High School. She married Neal Kenneth Osborne of Luray in 1938 and moved to Washington, DC. She worked as receptionist for the Washington Board of Realtors and as secretary for the Colonial Penn Life Ins. Co. and was a member of Zanesville Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She divorced in 1967 and remarried in 1981 to James Aubrey Andrews, Jr. of Washington, DC.

She is survived by daughters: Patricia E. Martz of Columbus, OH and Judith M. Hardina of Gahanna, OH; son, Dr. James R. Osborne of Greensboro, NC; sister, Mary Louise Armao of Orange, NJ; half sister, Linda Lee Braid of Montevallo, AL; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister.

Family will receive guests on Wednesday, July 21, from 10 a.m. - 12 Noon at Rodman Funeral Service, 5464 N. High St., Columbus, with Life Celebration at Noon officiated by Pastor Mike Barnett. Burial will take place at Evergreen East Lawn Cemetery.

Thanks for posting this, Stan. I know one of her daughters, but would never have learned of her death otherwise.
