Islam in France; Harbinger for America?

Eileen F. Toplansky

This video highlights how Muslims literally dominate French society by clogging the streets during Islamic prayer services. It should give every American deep pause. The French now understand that Muslims do not wish to integrate into French society and, in fact, wish to conquer it. France recently banned the burqa to the growing apprehension about Muslim insinuation of sharia law into French society.

In Sweden, firemen and emergency workers refuse to enter Muslim neighborhoods without police protection. As Soeren Kern writes, “…Muslim immigration, long a taboo issue for Sweden’s politically correct mainstream parties, may end up receiving far more scrutiny in the future.” In fact, “[h]ighlighting the increasing assertiveness of Sweden's Muslim community, the Muslim Council of Sweden recently dispatched letters to each of the major political parties in Sweden demanding special legislation for Muslims in Sweden. The demands included: the right to specific Islamic holidays; special public financing for the building of mosques; a demand that all divorces between Muslim couples be approved by an Imam; and that Imams should be allowed to teach Islam to Muslim children in public schools.”

Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany has expressed grave concerns about how Germany, “like other European countries, is destined to become a stronghold of Islam” and how Germans “have failed to grasp how Muslim immigration has transformed Germany.”

Moreover, “in the last 30 years, in Great Britain, the Muslim population has climbed from 82,000 to 2.5 million.” Presently 1000+ mosques dot the British landscape.

In Belgium and the Netherlands, “the Islamic population hovers around 25%.” In Russia, “one in five inhabitants [is] Muslim.”

In the United States, more than a dozen mega-mosque projects, (e.g., Murfreesboro, Tennessee) have become controversial as critics fear that a radical Islamic agenda may be the driving force behind these large Islamic centers.

Clearly, the triumph of Islam worldwide is the ultimate goal and there is a very real possibility that America could lose to this latest totalitarian enemy if we are not sufficiently roused to action.

Will American political correctness, naiveté, ignorance, and inaction permit Muslim domination on this side of the Atlantic as well?

An other 'the sky is falling' fear mongering article. Looking at her articles would seem to indicate that she is very anti-muslin, hidden behind an America First type of patriot. Many opinions, her right, snippets of quotes, out of any context of course, strung together to appear as truth.

Kunnula' fitta SWEDEN:

Swedes Reach Muslim Breaking Point

Muslims rule major Swedish city

Sweden is one of the worst hit countries in Europe of Muslim immigration and Political Correctness. Now, the police themselves have publicly admitted that they no longer control one of Sweden's major cities. I have made some exclusive translations from Swedish media. They show the future of Eurabia unless Europeans wake up. I've seen the future of Eurabia, and it's called 'Sweden.' Malm¿ is Sweden's third largest city, after Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Once-peaceful Sweden, home of ABBA, IKEA and the Nobel Prize, is increasingly looking like the Middle East on a bad day.

All following links to major Swedish newspapers, with a brief translation:

Malm¿, Sweden. The police now publicly admit what many Scandinavians have known for a long time: They no longer control the situation in the nations's third largest city. It is effectively ruled by violent gangs of Muslim immigrants.

Some of the Muslims have lived in the area of RosengŒrd, Malm¿, for twenty years, and still don't know how to read or write Swedish. Ambulance personnel are attacked by stones or weapons, and refuse to help anybody in the area without police escort. The immigrants also spit at them when they come to help.

Recently, an Albanian youth was stabbed by an Arab, and was left bleeding to rest on the ground while the ambulance waited for the police to arrive. The police themselves hesitate to enter parts of their own city unless they have several patrols, and need to have guards to watch their cars, otherwise they will be vandalized. "Something drastic has to be done, or much more blood will be spilled" says one of the locals.

The number of people emigrating from the city of Malm¿ is reaching record levels. Swedes, who a couple of decades ago decided to open the doors to Muslim "refugees" and asylum seekers, are now turned into refugees in their own country and forced to flee their homes. The people abandoning the city mention crime and fear of the safety of their children as the main reason for leaving.

ALL of the 600 windows at one of the schools in Malm¿ have been broken during the summer holiday. Window smashing alone costs the city millions every year. City buses have been forced to avoid the immigrant ghetto, as they are met with youths throwing rocks or bottles at them if they enter. Earlier this year, a boy of Afghan origin had made plans to blow up his own school.

People working at the emergency ward at the major hospital in Malm¿ receive threats every day, and are starting to get used to it. Patients with knives or guns are commonplace. They have discussed having metal detectors at the emergency entrance, but some fear this could be seen as a provocation.

Lisa Nilsson has lived in Manhatten, New York City, for 25 years. After moving back to Malm¿, Sweden, she now misses the safety of New York. She never walks anywhere in Malm¿ after dark, but takes a taxi everywhere she goes.

Rapes in Sweden as a whole have increased by 17% just since the beginning of 2003, and have had a dramatic increase during the past decade. Gang rapes, usually involving Muslim immigrant males and native Swedish girls, have become commonplace. Two weeks ago, 5 Kurds brutally raped a 13-year-old Swedish girl.

Sweden's politicians view arranged marriages as a positive tradition: a cultural pattern that immigrants should be allowed to preserve even in Sweden. The Swedish government feels that interfering in arranged marriages is an encroachment upon private life. In addition, immigrant couples can apply for family reunification in Sweden even if they've never seen each other before - as long as the marriage is entered in a culture with a tradition of parents arranging marriages on behalf of their children. A 2002 study by VŠxjš University economics professor Jan Ekberg found that immigration cost Swedish taxpayers DKK 33 billion that year, compared to just DKK 10 billion in Denmark. And while one might buttume that the rise in costs would result in knee-jerk opposition to immigration, just the opposite has happened in Sweden. A Swedish government commission has proposed abolishing the so-called "seriousness requirement."

MALMO, Sweden - Swedish authorities in the southern city of Malmo have been busy with a sudden influx of Muslim immigrants - 90 percent of whom are unemployed and many who are angry and taking it out on the country that took them in.

"If we park our car it will be damaged - so we have to go very often in two vehicles, one just to protect the other vehicle," said Rolf Landgren, a Malmo police officer.

Fear of violence has changed the way police, firemen and emergency workers do their jobs.

There are some neighborhoods Swedish ambulance drivers will not go to without a police escort. Angry crowds have threatened them, telling them which patient to take and which ones to leave behind.

Because Sweden has some of the most liberal asylum laws in Europe, one quarter of Malmo's 250,000 population is now Muslim, changing the face and the idea of what it means to be Swedish. Asylum seekers may bring spouses, brothers and grandparents with them. Civil servants say the city is swamped.

"You have 1,000 students in a Swedish school. How many are Swedes? Two," said Lars Birgersson, principal of the Rosengrad School.

Students arrive at age 10 or 12 from countries like Iraq, Iran and Lebanon with no knowledge of Swedish; some have never been to school at all and many clbuttes require interpreters.

Still, more than half won't graduate.

"They are not a part of Swedish society, so to speak. It is difficult for them to get inside society," said Torsten Elofsson of the Malmo Police Department.

However, they are the most rapidly growing segment of Swedish society - outsiders who are already inside, posing a challenge to legendary Swedish tolerance that has now been stretched to the breaking point.

Malmo's main mosque was recently set ablaze by arsonists. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they were attacked by Muslim stone throwers.

The situation in Malmo is reaching all-out crisis proportions.

Apologists for the over and over sing-song, "Islam is a religion of peace" sound more and more like the rock-throwing idjits they embrace.

It appears that Islam is conquering Europe more rapidly than they might in a hot war.

Hopefully, when our brothers and sisters are made refugees from Europe and begin arriving on our shores - they'll find a land preserved and relatively free of Islamic influence.

I have never quite understood the almost frantic behavior of many non-muslims to place the Islam religion on a revered pedastal. They should have their religious freedom until such a time as they abuse that which they d over and over.

It will be interesting to see.I don't think MN is unique as far as the muslim community goes. There are many employers that flat our refuse to hire muslims. Not because of their religion as such, their skin color or any other reason than they do not want to end up in a lawsuit. Hiring muslims is a open invitation to a lawsuit.

Islam may just save Europe from its Godlessness. Alas no such redemption for the US. The US will reach the height of Godlessness when it makes an image to the beast.

What kind of people think a Mosque desecrates but a strip club does not?

What kind of people ban covering but encourage nakedness?

What you have to remember is that France is an out and out "athiestic secular" country that makes the Soviet Union look tolerant to religious views...

They do not tolerate any belief system very much if it involves absolutes...

That includes Christianity.

Is Islam more of a danger to Christianity than Athiestic Securalism?

At least we have some moral middle ground with Islam...

As for me Islam can keep their Sharia law all to themselves. You may think that is a form of Godliness but I don't.You cannot seperate Sharia law from any part of muslim life.

You are right tho, there is no Islam redemption for the US. I have never read biblically where Islam will be the redemption of Europe. When we are dealing with end time events I am pretty sure they are world wide and the muslims will not be able to save us.

Your question is apple and oranges. The objection to the mosque was not based on religious differences and I think you know that.If it was on religious grounds then the hundreds of mosques all over the US would not have been built. Or it would have been a contentious issue.Have you heard of any that desire to build a mosque being denied if the zoning supported the application?

Why are "that kind of people" wanting to ban some of the muslim dress??

LOL, much like Christians have been over the centuries. Death for death I wonder how the scorecard would look. In Revelation, it's the "Christian's" that are the problem. Didn't SDA's drop the Muslim thing?

Athiesm was not born in the USSR...

It was born and nurtured, then exported to the world from France.

Intolerance whether overt or subtle is still intolerance.

But I will qualify my point, in that it is a subtle intolerance, rather than an overt intolerance, that is just as deadly if not more so.

At least in the USSR, it was there to see plainly.

In France and much of Europe, it is not so obvious, but I live in England, and Christianity is barely tolerated these days, as is true in much of Europe sadly...

And yes I have been to France, beautiful country, why do you ask?

It seems odd that muslims would immigrate in large numbers to a religious intolerant country.

Most countries that do have a large population of followers of Islam have the same concerns. Why is that? Do you believe that all of these countries suddenly hate muslims after allowing them to immigrate ?

Is it possible in your mind that maybe the muslims themselves cause many of the problems they see as discrimination?

Most of the immigrants pass through France and end up in England...

I think there is a strong Turkish element in France, which accounts for a lot of the problems there.

But I am not enough of an expert to comment in detail.

But one thing I do know, is that muslims were treated with the greatest respect in the UK until the attacks on New York and London, then everything changed.

But France was having problems with the Turkish youth and their own racist elements long before that.

So who knows how to unwrap it all. :-)

The Subversive Theology of Imam Rauf

by Samir Selmanovic on August 24, 2010

~ by Todd Gitlin, a professor of journalism and sociology and chair of the Ph. D. program in Communications at Columbia. His next book, The Chosen Peoples: America, Israel, and the Ordeals of Divine Election (written with Liel Leibovitz), will be out in September.

The fervent mosque-haters have this much right: Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Sufi leader of the Cordoba Initiative that plans to build an Islamic center on Park Place near the site of the World Trade Center, is subversive. But what he wants to subvert is not the United States of America. What he wants to subvert are dictatorships in Islamic nations.

Imam Rauf’s third book, published in 2005 but unavailable to me last week when I wrote about him and his earlier work, is called What’s Right with Islam is What’s Right with America. In these pages, Rauf proves just as Islamic as his detractors say. He is downright idealistic about Islam and hearty about its prospects. He has been scouting out America for a long time. And what is it that he finds here to gladden his Islamic soul? It’s right there on p. 176:

“…the American Declaration of Independence and Constitution.”

The imam goes on to say that these documents “express the Islamic ideal, which is itself but an expression of the Abrahamic ethic.” Yes, “the American Constitution and system of governance uphold the core principles of Islamic law.” And here’s a way of putting it that never tempted Sarah Palin or Newt Gingrich: “The overarching American religion that all Americans live under is ‘Islamic’ in the sense that it is fully compliant with and expresses the Islamic Shariah.” In Rauf’s understanding, Sharia is predicated on religious pluralism, which is “a fundamental human right under Islamic law.”

In fact—don’t tell Sean Hannity—it’s too late to resist. Satan is well ensconced here. “America is substantively an ‘Islamic’ country, by which I mean a country whose systems remarkably embody the principles that Islamic law requires of a government.”

No wonder the Imam is at this moment lecturing in the Gulf States on the State Department’s dime, to discuss “Muslim life in America and religious tolerance,” according to the AP—a trip that Governor Tim Pawlenty, guzzling a lot of tea in a hurry, calls “disgusting.”

No wonder the Bush State Department made similar use of him to win hearts and minds. He’s promoting the American social and political system. He believes that “democracy and liberty, in a peculiarly American way, provide a manifestation of the Abrahamic ethic.” If Muslims outside America “recognize in the American form of governance a genuine substantive workable expression and model of their centuries-old longing for the kingdom of heaven on earth,” he continues, “they can formulate their understanding of an Islamic state along these lines.” In other words, he wants to Americanize the Muslim world in the way that counts—by promoting our political institutions. You can see what Republicans object to, though: He says nothing about promoting the filibuster or repealing the Fourteenth Amendment.

Imam Rauf’s revisionism extends so far as to trash most putatively Islamic states—since 656 C.E., that is, when “the Muslims succumbed to dynastic rule, a paradigm of governance that did not display Islamic religious values.” No wonder it’s been a rough 13+ centuries for Islam ever since. But the moment, he argues, is ripe for American Muslims, for “no contradiction exists between Islam’s theology and the longing of many Muslims for democratic values and equality of opportunity. … Islam’s theology and jurisprudence demand it.” That is, the American system is the answer to an Islamic prayer.

The book closes with an appendix containing a fatwa issued by five Muslim clerics on September 27, 2001, at the request of the most senior Muslim chaplain in the American armed forces. Ending his book with a fatwa! Yes! Cunningly, it’s a “Fatwa Permitting U. S. Muslim Military Personnel to Participate in Afghanistan War Effort.”

What’s Right with Islam, by the way, was published by HarperSanFrancisco, which last I looked is owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Does he know what kind of poison bears his imprimatur?

Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.

If that were accurate there would have been many battles over the 100's of mosque's in the US. Wonder if there is any reason to believe anything else this author has to say.If he misrepresents something that has been stated over and over.It is not the mosque it is the location.

It could be because of the way Obama rearranges the constitution but I think most should have a problem equating Sharia law with US law. Maybe some liberals would like to see Sharia law but most that believe in freedom would have some problems with that concept.Sharia law cannot be seperated from Islam

I had to stop here....I found this claim rather unfounded....Consider this report-

Last weekend, the ABC television network in the US caused a stir by broadcasting a debate show asking the contentious question: should Americans fear Islam?

The feisty discussion on that show proved that Islamophobia in the US did not fizzle out the day after Pastor Terry Jones agreed not to burn religious texts to commemorate 9/11.

Even Christiane Amanpour, with her reputation for toughness, struggled to balance bigoted comments with voices of reason as she moderated the show. Undoubtedly, the ugly phenomenon of Islamophobia is thriving in the US. But it would be a mistake to hijack this trend by framing it exclusively in terms of US foreign policy, or simply subscribing to the ‘clash of civilisations’ theory that is often conjured up to contextualise the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The fact is Islamophobia is primarily a domestic American issue, and one of the most worrying consequences of a country at war with itself.

Present-day Islamophobia has many incarnations: the Cordoba House/Park 51 controversy continues with 68 per cent of Americans (according to a CNN poll) opposing the construction of the ‘ground zero mosque’ at its proposed location. Opposition also rages against the construction of mosques in Wisconsin, Tennessee and Kentucky.

Several hate crimes — incidents of vandalism at Islamic centres and the stabbing of a Muslim taxi driver — occurred this summer. According to the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, 38 per cent of Americans have an unfavourable opinion of Islam, as opposed to 30 per cent who have a favourable take on the religion.

Due to lenght, I will end the report here....If you wish, you can read more here. Just this partical report gives credence to the concept that Islamophobia exists and our muslim friends are under attack by bullys within the American community...and will give evidence that masque hating people and that many mosques are under attack...

Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.

People of the US are a little funny that way. Blow them up numerous times in various places and have some failed attempts to kill as many as possible, they get a little gun shy.

For the most part muslims are not harmed or threatened. There will always be some that use anything for an excuse to harm or kill others. But if you belong to a religion that has over the years routinely blown people to bits don't be to surprised to find some just like yourself.

Wonder who with the brain of a guppy figured it would.Did the hatred for america and what it stands for fizzle out the day after Pastor Jones agreed not to burn the Quran??

Doubtful.Saw that in another country a couple of weeks again the peaceful, tolerant followers of Islam were having a grand time burning bibles.Imagine that.

What a bunch of tripe. Take a look at the different countries now rethinking their immigration policy concerning muslims.

Maybe it is the muslims fighting a war with itself.Frequently the news media is reporting on muslims killing muslims.

Staggering Statistics on Muslims Killing Muslims

Posted on October 9, 2007 by wasteofmyoxygen

ACT has posted a set of statistics that demonstrates the real violence against Muslims, it is not Jews, Christians or even America that is leading the pack in Muslim Genocide, but rather other Muslims. These numbers (almost 10 million killed by other Muslims) defy rationality and surely anyone with half a brain can see where the real problem lies. Islam may or may not be a peaceful religion, but the people who dominate the religion and are the face that the world sees as representation of the religion, surely are far from peaceful.

“some 11,000,000 Muslims have been violently killed since 1948, of which 35,000, or 0.3 percent, died during the sixty years of fighting Israel, or just 1 out of every 315 Muslim fatalities. In contrast, over 90 percent of the 11 million who perished were killed by fellow Muslims.”

By Gunnar Heinsohn and Daniel Pipes, FrontPageMagazine, October 8, 2007

The Arab-Israeli conflict is often said, not just by extremists, to be the world’s most dangerous conflict – and, accordingly, Israel is judged the world’s most belligerent country.

For example, British prime minister Tony Blair told the U.S. Congress in July 2003 that “Terrorism will not be defeated without peace in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine. Here it is that the poison is incubated. Here it is that the extremist is able to confuse in the mind of a frighteningly large number of people the case for a Palestinian state and the destruction of Israel.”

This viewpoint leads many Europeans, among others, to see Israel as the most menacing country on earth.

But is this true? It flies in the face of the well-known pattern that liberal democracies do not aggress; plus, it assumes, wrongly, that the Arab-Israeli conflict is among the most costly in terms of lives lost.

To place the Arab-Israeli fatalities in their proper context, one of the two co-authors, Gunnar Heinsohn, has compiled statistics to rank conflicts since 1950 by the number of human deaths incurred. Note how far down the list is the entry in bold type.

*All figures rounded. This grisly inventory finds the total number of deaths in conflicts since 1950 numbering about 85,000,000. Of that sum, the deaths in the Arab-Israeli conflict since 1950 include 32,000 deaths due to Arab state attacks and 19,000 due to Palestinian attacks, or 51,000 in all. Arabs make up roughly 35,000 of these dead and Jewish Israelis make up 16,000.

These figures mean that deaths Arab-Israeli fighting since 1950 amount to just 0.06 percent of the total number of deaths in all conflicts in that period. More graphically, only 1 out of about 1,700 persons killed in conflicts since 1950 has died due to Arab-Israeli fighting.

(Adding the 11,000 killed in the Israeli war of independence, 1947-49, made up of 5,000 Arabs and 6,000 Israeli Jews, does not significantly alter these figures.)

In a different perspective, some 11,000,000 Muslims have been violently killed since 1948, of which 35,000, or 0.3 percent, died during the sixty years of fighting Israel, or just 1 out of every 315 Muslim fatalities. In contrast, over 90 percent of the 11 million who perished were killed by fellow Muslims.

Comments: (1) Despite the relative non-lethality of the Arab-Israeli conflict, its renown, notoriety, complexity, and diplomatic centrality will probably give it continued out-sized importance in the global imagination. And Israel’s reputation will continue to pay the price. (2) Still, it helps to point out the 1-in-1,700 statistic as a corrective, in the hope that one day, this reality will register, permitting the Arab-Israeli conflict to subside to its rightful, lesser place in world politics.

Quote:
Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is the beard for all of the other components.

Islam the religion cannot be seperated from ...legal, political, economic, social, and military components

Quote:
Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges

When politically correct, tolerant and diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, (and) some of the other components tend to creep in.

Mn has already caved on the above. Muslims sued their employer for religious discrimination. The crime of the employer was in not granting the muslims their prayer time and having it paid for.Employer lost and now in addition to their regular paid breaks they are allowed their prayer times and have it paid for. When they are hired of course they are not upfront and accept on condition that their prayer times will be honored and paid for by employer. They wait till they are in and then demand. Most employers do not want a lawsuit or be charged with discrimination.

Quote:
From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion

to their percentage of population. For example, they will push

for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves--along with threats for failure to comply. This is occuring in:

Mn has already been there and done a version of this.Again first accept employment and then go for the lawsuit threat to get your way. Muslim employee's that were cashiers refused to ring up dog food, alcohol, and any pork product.Employee's won. Now they can call on others to ring these up or can be transferred to another dept.Sometimes forcing another employee

to give up a position and take theirs at the check out line.We had a handicapped young man that relied on his service dog to attend classes. A muslim student began to attend the same class.

He demanded the dog be banned or he would kill it.The handicapped young man dropped out as he feared for his dog.

Praise the Lord, thanks for the post Bob.

By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

Bob, that was absolutely beautiful. I know that if it were known, there were some of the same individual miracles that happened at the time of the Nazi party's rise to power just before WWII.

Was God in control at that time? I'm satisfied yes!

Our Father in heaven still places more importance on personal freedom to choose, above salvation in the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. America's problems with those of Islamic persuasion do not reflect an impotent God, but, to a large extent reveals a nation of people who have turned to their own devices and are reaping the result of the master they have chosen to serve.

None of this denies the power of Jesus to save on an individual level, as I'm sure Dietrich Bonhoeffer will be willing to testify to, to all who enter the kingdom he will have the privilege to live in for eternity through the love and grace of Jesus.

God blesses. peace
