Maybe. I hope that is the case. I know Al Queda has a very strong presence in northern Africa. My company has turned down opportunities to bid work there because of it. We won't even take a flight from Europe to central Africa that has a layover in northern Africa because of the Al Queda presence there. There are state department warnings against Americans traveling there. There is a lot to lose there too. Remember that Gadaffi had a bunch of WMDs that he gave up? As shane said before, that is why Obama was not wanting to get involved. The comment of the good guys was because so many are wanting to have a change in Libya, and it is 'awkward' that it may have been lead out by Al Qaeda.
